Chapter38-Falling Apart

Mia's P.O.V.

I woke up to Carl placing me on my soft bed back at the prison. "She was upset about the guy?" I hear Hayes ask. "Of course she was. She thinks you have to save everyone in this world, but you can't." I hear Carl say. "Yeah but we can still try." Hayes says as I feel the bed dip down besides me. "Your just like her. You don't understand. We cant help everyone, people are gonna die and one day Hayes we're gonna be the ones to run this place and when we do everyone is gonna have to realize your gonna have to kill people, let them die. It just has to happen." I feel Carl wrap his arms around my waist. "Carl it doesn't have to be like that." Hayes pauses "Man have you been feeling....okay?" Hayes asks Carl. He sees that Carl's changing. Thank god I'm not the only one. "Yeah why?" Carl asks as I snuggle up to him. "You just seem....different thats uh...thats all." Carl shifts uncomfortably besides me. I grab onto Carl's shirt "Carl." i groan. "Hey, it's okay. Im right here." Carl whispers to me as I open my eyes. "Were back at the prison kitten." Carl tells me as he kisses my forehead. I nod as I look at Hayes. "Hey Mia I think...I think Beth wanted you." Hayes tells me. "Like now." he says. I raise an eyebrow at him. It was dark out. Nanny would be sleeping by now. He must have to tell me something. Maybe its about Carl. "Okay." i nod. "Ill be right there." I stand up and peck Carl's lips "Ill be back baby just wait here for me so when I get back we can lay down together." I suggest. Carl nods "Okay" I smile at him warmly then exit the cell with Hayes. "Okay Nanny is asleep by now so it must be you who wants something." I say as I follow Hayes into his cell "Whats up Hayes?" I ask. Hayes sits on his bed "Mia have you noticed a.....perhaps a change in Carl?" Hayes asks. I bite my bottom lip with a nod. "It's not really a good change in my perspective but I still love him." I tell Hayes. Hayes nods "I know Mia, and he still loves you very much. He would never hurt you. He would die for you. You know that right?" Carl asks. I nod my head in response "Of course I do." Hayes nods as I tell him "I should uh get back to him." "Yeah. He needs you a lot now a days." I nod at what Hayes said then go to my cell. When I walked in Carl was stripping down into his boxers like he does every night. I cross my arms over my chest as I lean on the door way watching his actions carefully. Carl never noticed me as he plopped down onto my bed on his stomach. He places my blankets over his bare back and legs. Carl sighs as he shoves his face in my pillow taking a deep breath in. "Mmm that smell I love." Carl hums. I smile and walk quietly over to Carl. I place my hands on his bare back which causes him to jump up "Getting comfy in my bed?" I ask as he lifts his head up and looks at me wide eyed "Jesus Mia you gave me a heart attack!" Carl lays his head back down on to my pillow. I smile "Thats good. Be afraid of me." I lean down to Carl's ear "Be very afraid." i whisper then kiss Carl behind the ear. He smirks "My innocent babygirl turning bad and scary?" Carl asks as I walk over to my bag and take my shirt off "I just might be." I say then smirk as I remember Carl staring at my butt today. "My innocent babyboy turning into a bad boy who stares at girls asses?" I ask as I throw on one of Carl's t-shirts like always. "Possibly." Carl shrugs playfully. I unbutton my pants and slide them down "Well then i guess were gonna have some problems in the future because i don't want you starring at other girls especially their asses. Huh?" I ask as I step out of my pants and grab some cotton shorts. "Not one problem Mia. I got your ass and thats all I need." Carl shakes his head. I laugh and slide my shorts on "Good, because my ass needs you too" Carl smiles with a laugh and so do I. I walk over to the bed and lay down next to Carl. He places his hands on my hips then kisses my lips. I kiss him back, wrapping my arms around his neck. Carl pulls away "I" Carl kisses my lips again then pulls away "Love" Carl kisses my lips again "You" then once more. "So much" Carl finishes. I giggle "I love you too babyboy." Carl smiles and I smile at him. "Lets get some sleep." I suggest. Carl buries his face in my chest. "Only if I can stay like this snuggled up to you." Carl says. I smile as my hands find their way to Carl's hair "Ill let you stay like this but if Glenn gets mad thats on you." I say. Carl looks up at me "It's a chance I'm willing to take." I smile. "Night baby." I say as I play with Carl's hair. He closes his eyes "Night Kitten. I love you." "I love you too." I tell Carl with a smile. I close my eyes and fall asleep quickly with Carl's head laying on my chest and his arms wrapped around my waist while my hands held onto his hair gently.
