Chapter12-Sophia

Mia's P.O.V.

"Why are we stopping?" I ask Carl.

"Were gonna discus where we're going next." Carl says.

"Were going to Find my mom! If yall don't go I have to leave to find her! I know the way! Just let me bring Daryl or something and I'll be on my ways." I say.

"Your not leaving me!" Carl says.

"If you don't want me to don't make me." I say and Carl frowns.
"I don't want to leave but if I have to I have to! You know that." I say softly and Carl nods

"I can't let that happen" Carl says. Carl and I go outside

"So where too next?" Andrea asks.

"My mom! We have a farm! Food, water, shelter! Our entire yard is fenced." I say

"Mia we can't just go to-" Lori says and I cut her off.

"You don't i will, I'll go by myself because I am finding her!" I growl.

"You can't just leave!" Rick says

"This is my family! They are alive and I am going to find them whether you help me or not!" I yell.

"Dad please!" Carl begs .

"Do it... do it for me! You know I need her!" Carl says

"Carl your twelve how long do you think this will really last? Be honest!" Rick says and I frown.

"i think our relationship will last longer and be ten times better then you and mom's relationship has ever been!" Carl yells and hugs me.

"Im not leaving you, if you go I go." Carl says as I hug him back.

"But you can't, your family is here and mine is somewhere else," I say and Carl shrugs

"I'll be honest I'm losing hope in them." Carl whispers in my ear.

"My mom was cheating, there always fighting. I rather be happy with you the miserable with them." Carl whispers and I grab a fist of his hair as he kisses my cheek.

"I couldn't let you." i whisper back. "you can't leave them just for me." I say

"I'm not leaving you, and you know you can't leave me or it'll happen agin. I'll get sad because my parents are fighting and then what? I have no one there to help me, at least with you wont be sad." Carl whispers as he lays with head on my shoulder and i starts to mess with his hair.

"So do we have to go or are you going to bring us to Mrs.Greene's?" Carl asks as he looks at his father

"Maggie, just call her Maggie." I giggle.

"I guess we'll go that way." Rick says

"Its gonna be okay! We have a farm with food and water and protection like I said." I say.

"We don't even know these people!" Andrea says.

"I do! Rick does, Lori does, Carl does!" I say, "We're going!" I reply

"We'll get some gas then go, her mom's a good five hours from here I think." Rick says. Everyone went get gas except me, Carl, Sophia, Lori, and Carol.

I sat down in the grass next to the road next to Carl. I had my back against his stomach and he had his arms wrapped around me. We didn't do anything but sit until it was time to go. We all got in the cars and then drove away.

"I was just thinking about our trip to the GrandCanyon with Carl." Lori says and Rick laughs. I smile as Carl wraps an arm around my wait. He pulls me into his chest.
