Grace was silently crying in the back seat with her head leaning on the window.
"Grace stop this nonsense". Mr carter sounded very stern and serious. Grace was still crying ignoring her fathers command.
I put my paw on her lap to give her comfort but she didn't want to face anyone.A while later we arrived home, Mrs Carter gathered up her purse and got out. Grace removed her head from the window and sat properly with her arms crossed.
Mr Carter opened the door for her but Grace wouldn't even look at him.
Mrs Carter was standing behind Mr. Carter who was trying to comfort Grace a little bit. "Grace I promised that we will find the best place for Belker, where he will be happy".
Grace pretended not to hear and turned her head to the other side.Mr. Carter looked fed up.
"Grace you have to know that we are trying our best". Mrs. Carter jumped in.I jumped out of the car wondering if Grace would come after me-but she didn't.
"Grace you can't stay in there the entire night"! Mr. Carter was really fed up and mad. "Yes I can"! Grace yelled. Mr. Carter pulled Grace out of the car and made her get inside while Mrs. Carter put on my leash and walked me inside. When I got inside Mr. Carter was yelling at Grace.
"GRACE WHY CANT YOU TRY TO BE HELPFUL"!
"I'm not going to help anyone who is trying to take my best friend away from me"!
