"Grace you better come in and start you homework"! her mom said.
Grace put the ball down and pet me on the head. Then she took me inside and put me back in the play pin. I could really use a rest. I cuddled up with a soft toy and lied on a pillow in the play pin. Grace took out her note books and began her work. About an hour later I woke up. Grace wasn't sitting at the table anymore. I had wondered where she went. Suddenly I heard her and her parents having a chat in the computer room. It didn't sound like a normal family chat. Her dad sounded super angry."What are these"! he asked Grace in a very solid voice. Her mom didn't sound happy either.
"Is this how you have been taking school seriously, then what are these grades"! her parents yelled at her. They finally came out of the room. Grace was almost about to cry. I could see her face all red. "You need to spend more time with school and less time with that dog"!
Grace just stayed quite. "I wish my parents never would check their mail"! she whispered to me. Poor Grace. Why did everyone had to make her feel this way. They can help her instead of yelling. People at school could try to communicate with her. They shouldn't leave her alone.
