I felt like I just wanted to jump in front of a car and end everything. Why did all this had to happen? Was I bad luck. I just kept staring at the wall. The nurse came back and took me out of my cage.
"Hope your happy to see your family". she said. I was happy but I wondered if they would be happy.

The nurse took me in to the waiting area where Grace and her family were waiting. It was late and everyone looked tired. I saw the Carter family waiting in front of the front desk of the animal hospital. Grace saw me and quickly ran to the nurse.
The nurse put me on the ground and Grace started petting me, Although Mr. and Mrs. Carter looked very miserable.

"Could you give us a moment please". Mr. Carter asked the nurse. The nurse smiled and went in the hallway.
"Grace we want you to listen carefully and try to understand"!
I kinda knew what this was going to be about. Grace picked me up and started to listen.
"This dog is like bad luck, Ever since he became a part of our home we had to suffer with many things. He is just making our lives a dark world"!
Grace couldn't believe what she heard. "Is this about his looks, How everyone thinks of him as a monster"!
"No Grace, we think it would be a good idea to send Belker to a better place like a farm or an animal care center"!
I've already went through a lot and I really didn't want to go to a farm or an animal care center. I couldn't trust anyone. They would just try to stay away from me. Now especially because of my one eye. Grace and I have an unbreakable bond. Why does everyone try to separate us.

"You can't do that"! Grace started sobbing. "There is nothing else we can do"! said Mrs. Carter.
Mr. Carter payed the money and we drove of home.
