The whole room was quiet for a moment. Grace took a huge bite out of her sandwich with her hair covering her face as if it were a mask. I quit staring at my kibble and started to dig in.
It tasted kind of different. It didn't taste very well. Actually it was awful.
I started to cough and growl. Mrs Carter was concerned. She picked up the package and looked at the dates. The kibble was expired.
"Oh gosh"! Mrs. Carter said. She threw the kibble in the trash can. "I guess we will have to buy some tomorrow".
"Don't even bother, Uncle Greg can get it for him since that will be his new home". said Grace. She took one last bite from her sandwich. She pushed the plate back and just sat there.

"Grace c'mon help me with the dishes". her mother pleaded. My stomach still hurt because of the kibble.
Grace went over to the sink and folded her sleeves and started scrubbing the plates. "Grace , honey I don't want you to see this situation in a dark, negative way"! Grace still didn't say anything.

"He will be happy there, I know he will". No I won't. How dare she speaks for me. She doesn't know how it feels like. Getting separated from your best buddy.

Grace threw the dishes in the sink, it made a loud bang. "GRACE"! yelled Mrs. Carter.
"You think he will be happy but for his entire life he was a disgust to everyone , including you and dad and if you think some dumb farm will fix all this....Well your wrong, your making his life a living hell"! Mr.Carter heard the noises and ran downstairs.
