They were all still having a serious conversation about her grades. Grace tried to not cry or wimp. "I'm sorry". she said to her parents. She herself was also really upset about her grades.
"I promise I'll try harder". She came over to me, took me out of the play pin and we went up to her room while her parents were just looking at each other but not saying a word.I wanted to cheer Grace up but I don't think that I was the one who could make her happy about grades. I don't really know what they are for or what they mean. Why do people get upset sometimes when they learn them. So entires they get really happy. I wish I knew.
"Hey Belker, wanna go on a walk"? Grace asked. I turned around myself which meant a yes.
We went out of the house, Grace put on my leash and we started our walk. Grace looked better. I think fresh air was good for her. I started running so did Grace. We were trying to see who was faster. We ran, and ran and ran until we almost fell down to the ground.
"I know where we can go". said Grace and slightly pulled on my leash. What place? Where were we going? After we went a few blocks Grace stopped. Now I understood where we were. It was the old park where a Grace had found me in the first place. Remembering the happiest moment of my life was amazing. I was so happy. When she first found me she didn't care about how I looked like at all. I loved remembering that. Grace took out a small tennis ball from her pocket and took of my leash .
"FECTH. she yelled and I ran after the ball. I ran as fast as I could. I fought the ball but my feet swiped of the ground and I fell in mud. I was deep but not that deep. I tried to get up but it was too sticky. Grace ran over to me. She got so scared and thought something terrible had happened to me. She took hold of me and tried to pull. It wouldn't work. A man who was feeding the doves at the park saw us and walked over to us.
"Do you need help little munchkin"? he told Grace. Munchkin? That was a bit odd.
"Umm..my dog is.....". Grace dropped her sentence. The man understood the problem and tried to help out. He turned over to me and looked at me. I don't think that he could really see me because of the mud.
