While walking I didn't really care about what people thought about me.
But I still knew things would be better if I had a family. I started to get really hungry, so I started walking to the closest place where I could find food. I came close to a trash can at a park. It wasn't the best but no one would give me food, I knew it was because of my face. Usually people would always feed stray dogs. I found an half eaten sandwich which looked rotten. I started to dig the dirt to find seeds when I saw alittle 11 year old girl sitting on the bench and reading a book. Her hair was short and red it came up to her chin. She had green eyes and freckles. She seemed nice.
I decided to walk up to her. I got closer and closer then she noticed me. She put her book in her bag and gave me alittle stare. A second later she smiled at me and took me on her lap and started patinng me.
"Oh you poor thing"! She said.
She gave me some biscuits and carrots. I really liked them. She started rubbing my face and I smiled.
" You have a wonderful smile, You poor thing on the streets all along and no one with you"! She added with a very calm and soft voice.
"Well I'm here for you"! She said
Those words were the best words I heard today. I knew it made both of us happy. She rubbed my tummy wich I really liked.
"Would you like the name Belker"! she said
I wagged my tail, I really liked that name I felt like I had a mate or even a person to love.
" I'm guessing you like that name"!
She had a ball and she would throw it and I would bring it back. After that her mom called her.
"Grace, it's time to go"!
