I heard them talking, I didn't really understand what they were saying but I just tried to listen to what I could hear.
"Please dad"! I heard Grace said.
I hope that the conversation was going well. It took a while. They must have gotten in to a deep discussion. They weren't talking loudly anymore so I couldn't hear what they were saying.
I really wanted to know what was going on so I saw the door not technically closed so I peeped my head out a little bit. Now I could hear fine. I heard her dad speak.
"Okay then, tomorrow let's try for a day and if it works I'll allow it"! he said.
"Thank you dad"! said Grace and headed back upstairs with the play pin.
I was so happy to hear the news. I had to show Mr. Carter that I wasn't a trouble maker and was responsible.
