#92: Manga Recommendation no.2

Its been a while since i reveiw a manga so here it is. Another manga recommendation.

But this time i'll be reviewing three :) And i decided to review completed manga this time.

Taiyou no Ie

Volumes: 12, status: completed

Summary:

Taiyou no Ie is slice of life, romance, shoujo manga by Taamo. When they were kids, Mao used to spend a lot of time at her neighbor Hiro’s house because it would always make her feel happy. However, Hiro’s parents passed away from a tragic incident. Currently, Motomiya Mao is a high school student who has "lost a home" after her father gets remarried. Because of Mao’s abandonment from her father and mother, this causes Hiro, her childhood friend, to invite Mao to live with him. As Mao and Hiro live together, they wait for the day where Mao returns to her original house, and for Hiro's siblings to come back and live together in their special house for it to become "the house of magic, a place filled with both laughter and tears" once again.

Own opinion:

This manga has an overload of cheesyness and cuteness. I always say "kya" when there's a ute moment between the couple. They are so cute. So this manga is the typical shoujo manga but its has this warm aura on it that will keep you from reading until the end. So if you really love sweet shoujo manga that will give butterflies on your stomach then this is the right manga for you.

Usotsuki Lily

Volumes: 17, status: completed

Summary:

Hinata Saotome is suddenly asked out by En Shinohara, a gorgeous boy in her grade. What she doesn’t know, though, is that his hobby is cross-dressing! En has always hated men, and whenever he sees his own reflection, he punches out whatever is doing the reflecting (windows, mirrors…). To combat this hatred, he dresses up as a girl. Hinata decides to go out with him anyway, despite his weird hobby.

Own opinion:

This manga is very unique. Unlike the manga aove ^^^^, this is not your typical shoujo manga. Since this involves a crossdresser. That means a guy dressing as a girl. This shoujo manga is very cliche, so if you don't want that then don't read. But if you like a manga that has a little twist from your usual shoujo manga then this is your cup of tea. And if you love a manga that doesn't only focus on the main couples but also on the other couples then you really should read this. Usotsuki lily is like a 3-in-1 manga, it has shounen ai, shoujo ai, and normal romance on it. That's why you might enjoy this manga.

Strobe Edge

Volumes: 10, status: completed

Summary:

15-year-old Ninako Kinoshita has never been in love until an encounter on the train with her school's most popular boy, the quiet Ren Ichinose. As she grows closer to Ren, she falls in love with him, but must learn to cope with the unfortunate fact that Ren already has a longtime girlfriend.

Own opinion:

Strobe edge has the same author of the recently finished manga,Ao Haru Ride. This is her first popular manga, i think. This shoujo manga is like your any other manga but don't worry it has its unique cliches too. Speaking of cliches...i have a confession...i really didn't like the ending of this manga...but i don't know for you if you have read this already. I just didn't like the same cliche where she...well i don't want to spoil those who haven't read it but still i think you already know what i mean. I'm not saying that this manga isn't good. Its just that i really didn't like the ending. But don't worry it has its good points too.

And this manga will be having a LIVE ACTION, so look forward to it :)
