#94 Mystery/Gore Recommendation (dedication chap. no.3)

Hi everyone! Its been a while since i've updated. I'm really sorry I was soooo busy at school. But don't worry I'll have lots of update today :) And~ for today's update its GORE and Mystery genre recommendation!! Yey!

So prepare for lots of scary and gory things. Let's go!

Higurashi no Naku Koro Ni

Genre: Mystery, Psychological horror,Supernatural, Gore

Summary:

 Higurashi no Naku Koro ni takes place during June 1983 in a fictional rural village called Hinamizawa which has a population of approximately 2,000. The main character, Keiichi Maebara, moves to Hinamizawa and befriends his new classmates Rena Ryugu, Mion Sonozaki, Rika Furude, and Satoko Houjou. Keiichi joins their after-school club activities, which consist mostly of card and board games. Hinamizawa appears to be a normal, peaceful, rural village to Keiichi. However, the tranquility abruptly ends after the annual Watanagashi Festival, a celebration to commemorate and give thanks to the local god, Oyashiro. Keiichi learns that every year for the past four years, one person has been murdered and another has gone missing on the evening of the Watanagashi Festival. Keiichi himself soon becomes drawn into the strange events surrounding the Watanagashi Festival and Oyashiro. In each story arc, he or one of his friends becomes paranoid, and a crime is committed. Usually, the crime involves the murder of one of their own friends. While it seems impossible to tell their delusions apart from the mystery of Hinamizawa, slowly the truth is revealed.

Own opinion:

 This show really had this surprising twists! I was really not expecting it to be like that...i though it would be another romance or harem anime but it wasn't like that! It turned out to be a harem with bunch of Yandere in it! I really hate the laugh of the girls in this anime, its so creppy T^T. But the show was amazing. It didn't let my expectations go down. But the reason why i gave it 4 is since it was a little confusing for me. But for you all i'm sure you will give it a 5 over 5 stars :)

Umeneko no Naku Koro Ni

Summary:

Umineko no Naku Koro ni takes place primarily in the year 1986, during the time frame of October 4 and October 5 on a small, secluded island named Rokkenjima 10 km around owned and lived on by Kinzo, the head of the wealthy Ushiromiya family.Kinzo is near death, and eight of his family members arrive on the island for the annual family conference, where the adults plan to discuss how Kinzo's assets will be divided once he is dead. Also on the island are three family members who live there, five of Kinzo's servants, and his personal physician. After the eight family members arrive, a typhoontraps them on the island, and shortly after, strange things start to happen and people start dying.

Own opinion:

 Maybe this was the first anime that really makde my stomach turn. Not only because of the gory part but also because it felt so eerie and it will really hunt you until you finish the series. I really love this show and since i'm a fan of gore and mystery i really enjoyed it until the end. The game was a little dissapponting but since the whole show was a cliffhanger i still decided to play it. And even now i'm still hoping Beatrice will be happy. I love her character! Its really a great show so definitely watch it!!

Shiki

Summary:

 The story takes place in a particularly hot summer in the 1990s, in a small quiet Japanese village called Sotoba. A series of mysterious deaths begin to spread in the village, at the same time when a strange family moves into the long-abandoned Kanemasa mansion. Doctor Toshio Ozaki, director of Sotoba's only hospital, initially suspects an epidemic; however, as investigations continue and the deaths begin to pile up, he learns—and becomes convinced—that they are the work of the "shiki", vampire-like creatures, plaguing the village. A young man named Natsuno Yuuki, who hates living in the village, begins to be pursued and surrounded by death. 

Own opinion:

 The reason why i gave Shiki 4 stars is because it left me hanging. For me, i didn't got the conclusion that i wanted. Huhu so i decided to read the novel and even the manga and it has pretty good I got the conclusion that I wanted. So if you're going to watch the anime make sure to read the manga too or the novel. :) Its really an exciting show with lots of twists that will make your body turn haha XD so you better watch it.

Corpes Party

Summary:

 Corpse Party is set in Heavenly Host Elementary School , an elementary school that was torn down following the murders and disappearances of several of its staff and students. In modern day, a high school called Kisaragi Academy has been built over the elementary school site. One rainy night, after celebrating their school's culture festival, a group of students are telling ghost stories when their class representative decides to perform a charm called "Sachiko Ever After", which would allow them to remain friends for eternity. A sudden earthquake transports them to an alternate dimension where Heavenly Host still exists and is haunted by the ghosts of the school's murdered children. The students try to figure out the truth and mystery of the cursed school, in order to find their way home and survive the other shadowy forces that haunt the school.

Own opinion:

 Corpse Parteeeeeeeeeh! First of all i want to thank Beyang-nee for requesting this great anime. Corpse party is not an official anime but only an OVA. But this 5 OVA (including missing footage) is 5 episodes that will make you scared to the bones. Well some of you might not find corpse party scary but for me who played the game...-_- I just don't want to remember the game anymore T^T Its a really scary game! Okay enough with the scary part...this show is really a must watch because it has this mystery plot that will make you watch everything so you must definitely watch it specially if you love gore!
