Summary:
In Uchihama Academy, the student body is busy preparing for their school festival. Their school will soon be moving to a newly constructed building, and this festival is the last to be held at the old campus. All the clubs at Uchihama plan to make it something to remember, but things are going awry. Students report ghosts, mysterious accidents and sudden narcoleptic fits that are plaguing progress at the old building. The Astronomy Club is commissioned to investigate. Akiyama Sou (Terashima Takuma) is a member of this singular group. But he needn’t go out in search of oddities; oddities find him. For example, mysterious transfer student Furukawa Yui (Tomonaga Akane). What are the circumstances behind her sudden and peculiar appearance? How does she know Sou? And why does she want to join the Astronomy Club?

Own opinion:
Some of you might recognise Ushinawareta Mirai wo Motomete by its French title: À la recherche du temps perdu, a direct allusion to an influential (and long) twentieth century novel. This apparent literary underpinning may set it apart from other anime adaptations of visual novels, which tend to be hit or miss. I really have high expectation in this anime because its aura is like Clannad or Little busters. Make sure to watch this very romantic anime.
