Summary:
n a future not too far away, androids that look exactly like humans begin to spread across the world. The android production company SA Corp created the Giftia, a new kind of android that has the most emotions and human-like qualities out of any model ever seen. However, due to problems with the technology, the androids have a service life, and once they pass that, it gets bad. For this reason, SA Corp created a terminal service in order to retrieve Giftia that have gone past their service life. Mizugaki Tsukasa (Takumi Yasuaki) is a new employee at the terminal service. He forms a team with the Giftia girl Isla (Amamiya Sora) to retrieve androids near the end of their lives.
Own opinion:
I already liked the show ever since I saw the trailer in its facebook page. I don't know why but it gave me this angel beats/gulty crown vibes. I don't know but I think it will have its feels moment. Specially its categorized in the drama genre. And since its an original series it made me a little curious on what will the result will be. This feels like a sci-fi tragedy in the making, where earnest characters will defy the inevitable, and I don’t know if they’ll get their happy endings. It’s fascinating subject material, and something we may someday have to honestly consider. Temper your expectations, for I would expect a slow build, but I’m excited nonetheless.
