Twenty-Nine

Hi . . . So I know I said I'd update yesterday, but like, I was too busy beating a Divine Beast in Zelda lol but enjoy this spicy chapter!!! (Not smut)

   Around four days later, you had the bright idea to take Taehyung out on a date. You had a little secret cave at the bottom of the ocean that nobody knew about, and you thought it'd be romantic to share that place with the one you love. And so, while everyone was sleeping, you gathered a bunch of pillows and blankets in a few waterproof bags and set off to the cave.

   It was about a mile and a half to the cave, and on the way over, you collected a bunch of sea urchins, oysters, and clams that you both could indulge on. You preferred the urchins, but it was good to have a variety.

   Once you made it, you quickly dried off your tail and got to work on making the cozy cave as comfortable as possible. You spread the blankets out on the ground after brushing some of the dirt away and then piled the pillows on top of it so when you and Taehyung laid on it, it wouldn't be hard. When you felt satisfied you left your sea snacks in one of the bags in a corner and dived back into the water.

   When you got back, you noticed that Taehyung and Kai were already in the kitchen. You freshened up in the bathroom and went into the kitchen once done.

   "Good morning everyone!" you greeted with a smile as you climbed into Taehyung's lap.

   "Morning, baby. Where were you this morning?" Taehyung asked as he gave you a quick peck on the cheek.

   "I set up something for us later on tonight," you grinned. At that moment, Yeonjun placed two plates in front of you and Taehyung. You both thanked him, but he gave you both a very forced and fake smile in return. You blinked in surprise, but just brushed it off.

   "Oh, really?" Taehyung smiled.

   "Yep! We'll go around five," you said while picking up your fork after a quick prayer.

   "Then it's a date!" Taehyung beamed before taking a bite out of his waffle.

   At exactly five o'clock, you and Taehyung set off on your way to the cave with your hands intertwined. You pointed out almost all of the sea creatures as you passed them, and Taehyung listened intently, also pointing out a few animals himself. And after around twelve minutes of swimming, you both reached the cave.

   Taehyung looked around the beautiful underwater cave, completely awestruck. He walked around and ran his fingers along the walls as you watched from your pillow nest on the ground lovingly. Eventually, Taehyung found the reason as to why you loved the cave so much.

   Dating back to what could be thousands of years ago, hundreds of drawings lined the walls, telling all kinds of different stories. From how mermaids were first created to how mermaids first learned how to walk on land, all of it was drawn out on the walls. Taehyung was extra careful in not touching the paintings, as he didn't want to ruin precious mermaid history.

   "Baby . . . why did you take me here?" he asked while glancing back at you, an unreadable expression portrayed on his handsome face. You bit your lip nervously.

   "This is my safe place," you replied, rising from your place on the blankets and making your way over beside your mate. "I come here when I'm feeling overwhelmed or upset. Seeing all the history all over these cave walls calms me down for some reason." Taehyung stared at you for a few more moments.

   "Why did you take me here?" he repeated. You turned your head towards him and looked him straight in the eyes.

   "This place is no longer my safe place," you answered while rotating your entire body to face him. Taehyung's eyebrows rose.

   "Why?"

   "Because now, you're my safe place," you whispered while stepping right in front of Taehyung. His mouth parted. "Ever since we met, I've been so much happier." A small smile appeared on your lips. "I was so miserable in that house all by myself, my only friends being the fish at the aquarium. I went outside only when necessary, and even then was rare." Your eyes began to tear up, "But then, you came into my life.

   "I go outside more often, I actually interact with people, and I look and feel healthier. Everything is just . . . perfect." A light laugh bubbled out of your chest as you wiped away a tear. "And it's all because of you." Taehyung didn't say another word before he grabbed the back of your neck and smashed your lips together.

   Somehow, you and Taehyung found yourself on your pillow nest, kissing your ferociously as you as you tried to pull your bodies closer and closer. You found your shirt to be up and over your head and before you could even finish blinking, Taehyung' stripped you of both yours and his' pants, leaving you both in just your swimsuits. Your mate marked your body everywhere that could read before he made direct eye contact with you as he unclipped your bikini top and threw it across the room, where he created more love bites everywhere the bikini bra had covered.

   Taehyung pulled away from your chest, panting heavily as he stared deeply into your eyes, lust and love clouding his vision. You gulped, feeling aroused and intimidated by his dominance.

   "If we don't stop now, I won't be able to stop at all," Taehyung heaved as he gripped your waist tightly.

   "I don't want to stop." Taehyung's eyes widened.

   "What?"

   "I don't want to stop," you repeated. "Please make love with me, Oppa. Make me all yours." And with a deep and sexy growl, Taehyung tore off your bikini bottoms and his swim shorts and the two of you made love all throughout the night, completely oblivious to what was waiting in store for the both of you the very next day.
