Stephen comes home (Ironstrange)

Stephen's Pov:

I was exhausted...After Dormammu...after everything falling apart I just wanted to go home...home...was I even welcome there...I had obviously hurt Anthony with my words...best not...so I tried sleeping in the sanctum...didn't work...I sat in the kitchen in the dark when the light came on making me blink.

"Wong." I said.

"Go home." He said making me look at him.

"I am...we give everything up for this power." I said.

"Most of us do yes...but the Ancient One said that the leaders need others..." Wong said.

"What?" I asked.

"Because you guys go through hell so go home...also would you please clean yourself up...you look like shit." He said leaving...I blinked...Home...I got up and made a portal...I walked through and...I closed my eyes just feeling the room...taking it in...everything in me just wanting to melt...home. I'm home...

"Stephen?" I tensed as all the relief left me...I swallowed...I looked at Anthony...his eyes widened.

"I...I know I have some explaining to do and some apologies to make." I said and blinked when he rushed over.

"Steph...shut up." He said making me blink...I deserve that. "Sit. Now." He said and I did...I watched him leave and frowned...Alright I can do this...I can take it...He's mad and...what if he leaves me? No...No he wouldn't...right? I didn't see his ring on...fuck. He never took that off. I messed up bad...if he took that off does that mean...it's over? Did he go to get the ring and is bringing it to me to say it's over...the engagement was off...no marriage. I tensed when he came back in and he sat on the coffee table in front of me with a...med...kit. Oh...Oh thank god...but where is his ring? I hissed as he started to clean my cut on my head. "Once we get you cleaned up and patched up it's bedtime no negotiation." He said and I looked at him.

"Anthony." I said softly.

"Shut up." He said quickly and I saw his eyes watering.

"Anthony." I said.

"SHUT UP!" He snapped glaring at me and then the tears fell...Oh darling. "You know how fucking worried I was about you!? You just vanished!" He snapped and stood up. "FUCK!" He choked. "I thought...I couldn't find you anywhere...you said all of that then just left and...I thought...you had gave up." He choked on a sob and I got up...I walked over.

"No." I said softly and pulled him into a hug. "I could never give up when you are waiting for me." I said and he sobbed clinging to me. "I'm sorry I hurt you and I'm sorry I didn't call." I said and he shook his head.

"I'm just happy your home." He choked and cradled my face. "I missed you." He said and my eyes burned.

"I missed you too." I said.

"You look exhausted..." He said.

"I am." I said and curled into him.

"Then let's get you cleaned up and ready for bed." He said softly. He cleaned me up and then...It was the best feeling ever...I sighed as I pulled him close in bed...I forgot how much I loved holding him...I fell asleep and slept the whole nightmares...I woke up the next morning and that's when I noticed.

"Anthony...why is there a indent of a body in the ground?" I asked.

"Um...decoration." He said.

"Why is this whole wall missing!?" I asked.

"Renovating." He said...I froze.

"Who the fuck are these people!?" I shouted and Anthony blinked.

"Right." He said.

"Oh you must be the husband...nice to meet you." I looked at them then him.

"You may have missed an alien invasion while you were gone." He said.

"E-excuse me!?" I asked.

"It's fine." He said and I sighed...I popped over to the fridge and heard choked noises as well as gasps. "Steph...how the fuck did you do that?" Anthony asked...Oh...right.

"Um...you may have missed a dimensional being trying to eat our world and me becoming magic while I was gone." I said and he blinked.

"The fuck is this relationship?" The guy with brownish hair asked...is that Captain America?

"I have no idea." Captain America said.

"Bruce...help." Anthony said.

"For the 5th time...I'm not that kind of doctor." I'm assuming Bruce said.
