The next two days were a roller coaster of emotions. Steve, Sam, and Bucky got arrested and then they got out of it somehow, I've decided not to think about it. I was keeping my suit near me wherever I went, just in case. It wasn't until late one night that there was a sign of anything. I was with Wanda in the living room when there was an explosion in the distance. Wanda and I walk up to the window and Vision comes through the floor next to us.

'What is it?' Wanda asks. I struggle to keep my face neutral.

'Stay here, please,' Vision said. He looked at me. 'Both of you.'

Vision went through the window to go investigate. Wanda and I watch him disappear into the night and a smile starts to creep across my lips. I feel someone behind me, and Wanda and I whip around at the same time, her compelling a knife across the room, stopping it right in front of Clint's head. I smile widely.

'Guess I should have knocked,' Clint said, moving the knife away, it dropping to the floor.

'Finally,' I say, walking towards him, Wanda right behind me.

'What are you doing here?' Wanda asks as I grab my bag that had my suit.

'Disappointing my kids,' Clint said. He shoots arrows to both sides of the room. 'I'm supposed to go water-skiing. Cap needs our help. Maya got your suit?' I nod. 'Come on.'

Clint walks back over to us, grabbing Wanda's hand. We start to walk off out of the compound.

'Clint!' Vision said from behind us. The three of us stop walking. 'You should not be here.'

Clint turns. 'Really? I retire for, what, like 5 minutes, and it all goes to shit.'

'Please consider the consequences of your actions,' Vision said.

'Okay, they're considered,' Clint said. Vision took another step forward and got caught in a force field between the arrows. 'Okay we gotta go.' Clint and I start jogging, and I stop as I realize Wanda isn't following. 'It's this way,' Clint said, also turning.

'I've caused enough problems,' Wanda said.

Clint runs back to her. 'You gotta help me, Wanda. Look, you wanna mope, you can go to high school. You wanna make amends, you get off your ass. Shit.' Vision broke free and punches Clint to the floor, who recovers quickly. 'I knew I should've stretched.' He extends his baton and tries to hit Vision, but the blows go through him each time. He throws a punch and then tries the baton again, which breaks. Vision then gets Clint in a headlock. I move forward and use my powers to pull Vision's arm away from Clint so he could get free. I hold Vision's hand still.

'You two can't overpower me,' Vision said.

'I know we can't,' I say. 'But she can.' I let my energy die.

I nod to Wanda. She walks forward, a ball of energy flowing between her hands. 'Vision, that's enough. We're leaving.'

'I can't let you,' Vision said.

Wanda extends her hands and Vision falters. 'I'm sorry,' she says. As she moves her hands closer together, Vision goes further to the ground, the ground cracking.

'If you do this...' Vision says, 'they will never stop being afraid of you.'

'I can't control their fear, only my own,' Wanda says. She steps forward and sends Vision into the floor. I walk up and look down at the huge hole. You couldn't even see him.

'My dad is going to kill me,' I mumble.

'Don't get soft on me now, kid,' Clint said. 'We got one more stop.'
