It was getting dark as Peter and I flew along trees and power lines. My purple haze lit up the surrounding area, helping us to see better. They managed to convince me to allow them to tape a phone to Peter's chest so that MJ and Ned could watch and make sure we were okay. I refused to tape my phone to my chest because Pepper would kill me if I broke another phone.
'Keep an eye out on those trees,' I hear MJ say, 'We don't really know where this guy is. I genuinely don't know how you do this without throwing up.'
Peter and I continue for a couple feet until we get to a clearing. We both land on the ground at the same time and start looking around for anything nearly suspicious.
'Did you see that?' Peter asked, suddenly.
I turn to look where he was staring.
'No,' Ned said.
'It's, it's really dark,' said MJ.
We continue scouring the area. After a minute or two, a shock goes down my spine and we stop moving at the very same time. Noise comes from behind us, and I can see a glimpse of blue light coming from the near distance.
'What's happening?' Ned asks.
'Are you getting the tingle thing?' MJ asks. 'Is your tingle tingling?'
Peter readies his new web gauntlet, looks at me, and we turn around at the same time. Neither one of us were prepared for what we saw. Something sparkly and blue was forming from the power lines, blue light pouring out of it like its own forcefield. It was nearly a corporeal shape.
'Are you guys seeing this?' Peter asks.
'Yeah,' MJ said.
'Osborn?' Ned asks.
'No. He was green. This guy's blue. Uh...' he calls out to the blue thing, 'You wouldn't happen to be from another universe, would you?'
'What's he doing?' MJ asks.
'I don't know,' Peter said.
'It looks like he's charging,' I jump in. 'I don't like this, Parker. Just web him or something.'
He shoots a web, but it flies straight through the blue visitor's body, hitting a tree instead. The blue person opens his eyes and fires a bolt of electricity toward Peter and me. We both jump to opposite sides, and we fly through the woods. I make sure to reconnect with him again, avoiding the electricity being blasted at me. Great. Being hunted by some weird electricity again. I could hear Ned and MJ screaming directions, but I tuned them out.
'Guys!' Peter said. 'This is not helping!'
A burst of electricity hits Peter, making him fall to the ground. Panic starts swelling in my chest, distracting me from the mission enough to be clipped by electricity. A shock runs through my entire body, and I start to fall. I manage to slow my fall, but I still land on the ground pretty hard. The impact was enough to give me a headache. I was right next to Peter, and I felt like tiny swords were piercing my entire body. My nails dug into my palm and Peter was barely moving at all.
Looking up I could see electricity slowly crawl over to us. I knew I couldn't block it without getting electrocuted again. But before I could muster a plan, a huge wall of sand rises in front of us, shielding both of us from the blast.
'Whoa,' Peter said, managing to sit up.
'Peter, it's me,' the sand guy said. 'Flint Marko. You remember?'
Peter stands up and I join him after it took me a little while to get to my feet.
'I'm Peter, but I'm not your Peter.'
