When I woke up, I was on a very comfortable bed. I didn't know where I was or what was happening, but I felt intact. Normal again. In love. Happy. It was almost too overwhelming as everything hit me all at once. Wanda and Peter. My emotions were off the charts. I get up and decide to go find someone that I knew. I figured out I was still at Kamar-Taj when I walked out of the room. I ran into Wong pretty quickly.
'Ah, good, you are up,' Wong said. 'Strange would like to speak to you. Follow me.'
Wong simply opens a portal to another part of Kamar-Taj and motions for me to step through. I do, though anxiously, and I realize it's the library again. Strange and America were there, seemingly studying or something along those lines.
'Maya!' America said, smiling. 'You're awake!'
'Yeah,' I nod walking closer to them. 'How long have I been out?'
'Three days,' Strange said. 'Your brain retained a lot of slightly new information. I spoke to Pepper already and told her I'll send you home once you wake.'
I nod. 'What... What happened? How did I get Peter back? I thought the spell would—'
'I didn't know,' Strange said. 'And neither did Wong. So, we've been researching, trying to find a way that this could happen. We found something in one of our ancient libraries based around theories. Apparently, the Amethyst and our sorcery don't mesh well. Your mind is better than our magic. Combined, however, they can reverse a lot. If you are willing.'
I try not to get my hopes up. 'Are you saying...'
'We could bring him back,' Strange nods. 'Wong has agreed to it. You and me working together may be able to reverse this thing. Make it back the way it was before Mysterio. We just need his permission first. Need him here.'
'I can find him,' I say, quickly. 'I'm going to find him.'
'I've already tracked him down,' Strange said. 'You just need to go get him. Take your time.'
I nod. 'Thank you, Strange. For not giving up. And coming to me for backup even though I spent the majority of the fight blacked out.'
'Don't push yourself,' Strange said. 'Its okay to not be the biggest player.'
I smile slightly. 'I'll work on that.'
Strange starts working on a portal. 'Now go get him.'
