"Sugoi! Okinawa is so rad!! Magi I can't believe you lived here!", (Y/n) exclaimed as they pressed their face against the Airplane window.

"Tell me something I don't know!", Magi said proudly and smugly

"doesn't explain why you look like a delinquent, though", (Y/n) snarky remarked which got them a nuggie by a playfully mad Magi

"HUH! What do you mean delinquent!?", Magi now had (Y/N) in a headlock

"you look cool that way though! You make people fear you and respect you!", (Y/N) explained as they tried to butter up in hopes to be let go and to their relief Magi let them go.

"That's right! Though you have yet to explain to me why we are even here and don't you dare give me the I wanted to meet my fan bullshit. I want the real reason", Magi said as she wanted an explanation for she was a bit annoyed that her boss disregarded the original plan.

They sighed. "I guess nothing gets past you. I originally wanted to come to Japan in hopes I get over this writer's block, but,... I want to be a kid again. I had to act like an adult for almost all my life and I saw this as a chance to escape from that for a while. Then I also wanted to get away from Dianna. She thinks she can now have a say in my life.", explained (y/n) as they looked through their old pictures on their phone.

"Jeez, kid don't be such a downer! It's your vacation! Go be a kid and let me deal with the problems for now", Magi said as she gently patted (y/n)'s head, thinking exasperatedly: It feels like more work than it had to be, Diana

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Okinawa Airport. Local time is 18:14 pm" (7 pm) "—and the temperature is 76 degrees. For your safety and comfort, please remain seated with your seat belt fastened until the Captain turns off the Fasten Seat Belt sign".

"ご列席の皆様、沖縄空港へようこそ。現地時間は午後18時14分、気温は76度です。安全と快適さのために、キャプテンがシートベルト着用サインをオフにするまで、シートベルトを着用したまま座ったままにしてください。"

"yay! We finally landed!", (y/n) happily said as they stretched their arms.

"You won't be cheering when jet lag hits", Magi laughed, "that's why we won't be doing anything until tomorrow!".

"Right, right! That settles it then! Today we sleep for tomorrow we explore!", (y/n) cheered as they grabbed their stuff and before sitting back down for there was a mob of people trying to get out, "let's wait until they get off before getting up".

It took a while but they managed to not get squished by the mob of people trying to get off and called a cab to take them to their new home in Okinawa.

When they reached the home, it was already night since getting through customs took longer than expected. There were a lot of people and (y/N) had magi translate to the TSA that they wanted to go through the metal detectors rather than being patted down by a person. It was 9 pm when they left the darn airport.

"finally! We're here! I'm so fucking tired! Let's just go to sleep!", (Y/n) exclaimed as they carried their luggage into the new home and dropped them by the door before running into one of the bedrooms.

"You just read my mind kid, Fuck this shit. It's future us' problems anyway. Time to hit the hay", Magi muttered as she kicked off her shoes and went into her room for the night.

"GOOD NIGHT!" (y/n) yelled before going into a deep slumber.

The beds felt like a haven.
