"bubba, wake up."

calum groans, and opens his eyes to see his daddy smiling softly above him.

"there's my sleepy little boy. hey, come back to daddy, love," ashton says as he watches calum close his eyes again. calum pouts, and looks at ashton with half lidded eyes.

"dada?"

"yeah, sweetheart. mikey and lukey are getting ready to leave," ashton says, running his hand through calums hair, "so why dont you get up and say goodbye before they go."

"'m s'eepies," calum says, letting out a soft whine afterwards.

"bubba, you're gonna get up and tell them goodbye, okay?" ashton says, raising his eyebrows, "then we can go back to sleep. in the fort or in bed, your choice."

"'tay," calum says softly. after a couple seconds, calum rolls over onto his stomach and follows his daddy out of the fort.

"uppies?" calum asks once he's sat on the floor, raising his arms up in the air. ashton easily picks calum up so the little is hoisted up on his hip.

"you're lucky i love you," ashton says, then presses a kiss to calums head. the little just hums, shoves his thumb into his mouth, and lays his head on ashtons shoulder.

michael and luke are gathering their things by the doorway when ashton brings a sleepy calum out.

"alright, lets say goodbye," ashton says, then sets calum down on his own two feet. the little whines since he doesn't want to be let go, then he remembers what his daddy said.

"'ood'ey," calum says, hugging michael first.

"goodbye, callie," michael says, hugging back, "we'll be back soon, okay?"

"'tay, mikey," calum says, then hugs luke, "ood'ey, lulu."

"see you tomorrow, yeah?" luke says, hugging back, "down cause your daddy too much trouble, okay?"

calum giggles, "i goo' boy, lulu!"

"thats up for debate, silly boy," ashton says as he picks calum back up.

"nuh uh, daddy," calum says, shaking his head, "i goo' boy, p'omise!"

"mhm," ashton says, then turns back to the other two, "okay callie, say thank you!"

"tank 'ou!" calum says, swinging his legs back and forth as he waves to luke and michael with one hand, and starts to suck on his thumb with the other.

they watch luke and michael leave, and once their car is out of sight ashton looks at calum, who smiles and giggles.

"you wanna go back to sleep, love?" ashton asks softly, and moves the arm that isn't supporting calums bum up so he could move away some of calums wild curls.

"mmm...baba, p'ease?"

"sure, babyboy. daddy can make you a bottle," ashton says, taking them back to the kitchen.

"tank 'ou, dada," calum says softly, and lays his head back down on ashtons shoulder. the older boy hums softly, and makes his bottle with one hand as usual. once he's done, and he's got the top screwed on, he nudges calum's head with his nose.

"hey, little one...you wanna go lay in bed so daddy can feed you how you like?"

calum nods, already feeling himself start to slip into a younger little space. ashton hums softly, kisses calums head, then takes calum and the bottle back to bed. the little doesn't let go of his daddy as his daddy sits down on the bed, and adjusts with his back resting against the headboard.

then, calum moves so he's chest to chest with his daddy, and rests his cheek on ashtons shoulder.

"alright, here we go love," ashton says softly, bringing the bottle of warm milk up to calums parted lips (that were resting against ashtons shoulder).

the little starts to drink the warm milk easily, and lets out a quiet little whine when his daddy starts to lightly pat his bum.

calum absolutely loved being held like a newborn while his daddy fed him and gave him bum pats - even when he couldn't sleep, that was one way, no matter what, that his daddy could get him to sleep.

"such a good boy for daddy, bubba," ashton says softly, "you are always so good for me, huh? daddy loves you so much, little one."

calum whines softly, and rubs his cheek against ashtons shoulder softly one time before he stops and continues to drink his milk. it makes ashton chuckle softly.

calum only drinks two thirds of his bottle before he's fast asleep on his daddy.
