It's so nice to be back, especially since I now have Gabriel with me. When I first found out he is my guardian angel, I was a little mad at him. I wouldn't really say much to him. He would keep on bugging me to talk to him. I would just hold my head high and ignore him. This didn't last long, though. I couldn't be apart from him anymore, so I forgave him. We haven't seen HellChild, so I knew that we had to go soon. Gabriel said that we could stay for a few days, and if nothing appeared out of the ordinary, we would have to leave. It's today. We leave in an hour. Gabriel is making pancakes.

"Here you go." He said, placing a plate stacked with fluffy pancakes and maple syrup on top.

"Thanks. You know, when I heard you say you are Gabriel, I thought you're the angel Gabriel. The one that told Mary about her baby Jesus. But you're not, are you?" I took a giant forkfull of pancake and syrup, stuffing it in my mouth.

"No. My mom named me after him. We're actually pretty good friends."

"Wait, you know him?" I said through a mouthful of pancakes

"Yeah, we're both guardian angels. Actually, he's the one who told me I would be yours. He's also my mentor."

"Wait, I just thought of something. If I'm dead, are you still my guardian angel?"

"Yes." That's all he says. I decided not to bring it up again. "We have to go."

"Already?" I whined. "But these pancakes are so good!"

"I can make you some more later, okay?"

"Okay." I said grumpily.

We left my house for good this time. I turned back to have one last look at it before it belongs to somebody else.

"You ready?" Gabriel asked. He's back in his angel form, waiting to fly us out of here.

I sighed. "Yeah, I'm ready."

Gabriel hoisted me up into is arms and carried me bridal style. He flew into the air. It feels amazing flying like this. The wind is in my hair, the sun on my face. I start slipping, but Gabriel holds me tight. I tighten my grip around his neck, and we fly into the sun. At lest, that's what it feels like.

"Why is so hot?" I asked, but my voice was barely audible over the noise of the wind. He heard me anyway.

"We are entire the Dead Zone. The way a human normally gets here is not like this. Angels don't feel a thing coming through this way. But for humans, it's brutal. I'm sorry that you have to go throuh this, but it's the only way to get us both back." He yelled.

"It's getting worse! Gabriel, I can't stand it. It feels like I'm burning alive! Gabriel!"

I think I passed out after that because when I came to, I saw the Dead Zone. I was lying in a bed. Gabriel is at my side.

"Gabriel?" I said in barely over a whisper.

"Shh. It's okay. You're fine. How are you feeling?" His voice is soft and he spoke lowly.

"I'm fine." I said. I try to get up, but I couldn't move. "Gabriel, I can't move. What's happening? Gabriel?"

I look at Gabriel, but all I see is HellChild. Then I see Gabriel. He's dead in her arms. She drops him on the ground, and pulls out her sword. She slowly cuts across my stomach. I scream in pain, but it just causes the wound to bleed more. She bends down over me and actually drinks the blood. I scream again. She is forcing my blood to the surface of the wound. He takes her sword again and makes the wound deeper, making me scream in pain some more. She drinks the blood. Then she pulls out a dagger and slices my throat open. As I fade away, I see her sucking my blood.
