I arrive at the same town I had before. I smell the fear. It's been what, four years since I first arrived? I appluad myself. It's difficult keeping fear alive for even one year. Killing all of those prisoners and those cops must have gotten the entire town running scared. Maybe even the few towns around it.

I stretch my wings and lift my head to the sky. It feels so good to smell human fear. I wonder to myself, why it was this town that I first arrived in. I felt something strange the first time I was here., and I feel it again now.

I stroll through the town. I am still in my demon form, so when people see me, they are afraid. I love to hear their screams, and to see the terror in their eyes. I draw my sword. One by one, they fall. Soon I am surrounded by bleeding corpses, their blood still oozing out in pools of warm, maroon colored liquid. I lick the blood off my sword, the coppery metallic taste cover all of my tastebuds.

I raise my wings and take flight. One flap, and I am fifty feet in the air. Two flaps, and I am across the town. I land once more, wishing I could fly a greater distance. I wish my wings did not take me so far with so little effort. I wish I could feel myself flying for longer. But it will not be done. My wings are too powerful.

I don't know why I came here. It's an old abondoned farmhouse. The windows are all broken, the walls are falling apart, the doors are gone, cobwebs are everywhere. But there's somthing about this place that seems familiar. I feel a strange connection to it.

I walk over to where the main door used to be. I look inside. Eveything is burned down. It's like someone didn't want any evidence of them being here. I walk through the few ashes that are still around. There is one thing that is not burned. It's a simple lighter. I pick it up, wondering why whoever burned this place down would leave it here.

I keep it with me. Maybe it will come in handy sometime. No. This is exactly like last time. I can't go soft. Not now, not ever. I have to complete my mission. Not for my former master, Demora, but for me. I need to do this for myself.

"AHH!" Someone behind me screamed.

I turn around to see where the noise was coming from. It's a girl. A young girl. Young or not, though, I must kill her. I draw my sword, sprint toward the girl, and slice her in half. Her screaming stops. I sheath my sword once more. Looking at the girl's dead body gives me so much pleasure, so much comfort.

I walk back outside to see a crowd gathered at the farmhouse. Great. The girl's screams attracted unwanted attention. Oh well, at least now I can kill them all at once. I unsheath my sword once more, calling upon the power of the demons in Hell. Black lightning strikes my sword, filling me with energy. I revel in the power. I raise my wings, creating a deadly poison in the air. I aim my sword at a human and they burn from black fire coming out of it. They run and scream, but to me, it sounds like applause. I smile and raise my head toward the sky.

"Fight me, angels!" I yell. "You swear to protect the humans, then come down here and protect them. Or you can just sit up there, watching in horror as they die. YOU! You, God, have created these humans. Are You really just going to let them die? I thought You would protect them, but I guess not. You are a coward, too scared to fight for Yourself and Your creations. You have Your angels fight for You in Heaven, and You let the humans die! You lose, God. You lose."

I keep killing the humans, enjoying myself to my very limits. I aim my sword again, ready for the power to come out. Nothing happens. I feel the power surging inside of me, waiting to be released. I feel it coming out, but not the right way. It's coming out backwards. Before I realize what's happening, I am flown backwards, tumbling over myself in confusion.

When I finally stop spinning, I look at my sword. The power has backfired, and came out towards me. I look back at the humans, but there are none there. I am nowhere. I don't know what happened, but now I am nowhere. I look around to see only a green grassy field spreading out for miles. I stand up and walk aimlessly. I try to use my wings, only to see that they are quite uselss now. They're broken and bent, and they cannot fly. I sigh, thinking of what happened.
