'Who..? Who is calling me...?'
Wei Ying felt his body being dragged against his will into an abyss of everlasting sorrow. Pain and anguish coursing through the essence of his being. As painful as it felt, it did not feel as if it was his first time.
'Where am I?'
His eyes slightly open as he glances around to see things only one could see in nightmares. Mountains of bodies crawling from below him reaching to grab onto him. Their hands devode of skin, and bones tattered and cracked. Flesh that had been melting, slowly as if time was slow for the beings below him. Rivers and pools of blood raging in waves, and screams drowning out any other possible sound or thought.
'S...stop..!'
A hand grabs onto his sleeve as he's pulled closer by a dark mist.
'Let go...!'
Unable to move, more hands reach up to him crying in anguish. The more hands that touched him. The more images flowed into his mind.
'Stop!! I don't want this again!'
"Wei Ying! Wei Ying! Wake up..!"
'A light shined from above him. And from that very light small droplets of snow began to fall over him. The moment one small flake fell to his hand an image flashed for a moment. And in that very moment he could feel as if someone was embracing him. He finally moves, lifting his hand up to reach toward that warm light; yearning for the safety this person was bringing to them. His hand is grasped by another'
'Lan Zhan!'
With a flash of white, Wei Ying manages to awaken from his dreams of horror. His body launches upward as he takes a moment to finally breathe. He takes a moment to clear his vision, as a small ringing kept going in his ear. He looks up a bit toward his hand and notices a hand holding onto his. He looks up to see the familiar face of the customer who was in love with the rabbits.
"Wei Ying..."
"Lan...Zhan....ah...wait...what..what happened...?" He asks breaking his hand away from his grip with slight hesitation.
"You..collapsed...I volunteered to take you home. Your family here allowed me to stay, and Huisang allowed for you to stay home for a few days to rest."
Wei Ying blinked with confusion. So quickly everyone managed to just allow this stranger to take care of him. He didn't feel as if he was dangerous, but even so it was still odd. However, he was grateful to have someone else by his side during one of his nightmarish episodes. Sometimes his sister would go to him to comfort him, but even those times were rare now. For as long as he could remember, these nightmares had haunted him since his earlier childhood days. He could never figure out why.
"Wei Yang..."
He snaps out of his thoughts to the calling of his name.
"Are you okay?"
He turns to him, and merely gives a pitiful look.
"You know Lan Wanji, I really don't know..."
This response confused him.
"You see....I've had the most terrifying dreams ever for as long as I have lived on this planet. I am pretty sure even as a baby, I was having such horrible dreams. Nothing but gore, blood, and monsters of skeletal remains just yearning to reach up and grab a hold of me,"
Lan Wanji stared at his facial features; he could tell that these nightmares were eating him up inside.
"I don't know why I get plagued by these dreams, but this one was different,"
