Happy birthday to our Wei Wuxian!!!!!!

Lan Wangji awakens at his usual morning hours as a part of his daily routine. However, this morning he wanted to do something different. Today was a special day after all. Today is the birthday of Wei Wuxian. His husband. The love of his life. He wanted to do something special for him. However, despite knowing everything about him he was not sure where to start in planning anything specific such as a party or get together. So he decides to seek some help. He decides to ask those who are closest to him or rather who have grown up with him. As much as the two disliked each other, their relationship had changed slowly as time passed. It was time to pay a visit to Jiang Wangyin.

He attempts to leave his bed, but is stopped by a pair of arms wrapped around his waist. He turns his head to his husband who was barley awake, and barley able to keep his eyes open.

"Mmm...leaving now....?" He asks quietly.

Wangji softly smiles and leans over lightly brushing his lips along his forehead leaving a small kiss to keep him some comfort.

"So early~...!" He whines. His arms tightening their grip around his waist with his fingers curling up into the seems of his robes not willing to let go. He sighs lightly and brushes his hands through his raven locks as he purrs at his touch.

"I have to go..."

Wei Wuxian pouts and releases his hold on his waist and rolls up under the white sheets. Wangji lets out a small chuckle and properly tucks him in. Within seconds he was already asleep once more.

"Sleep well..."

Finally he is free to prepare for the day. Once fully dressed in his robes, he ties his ribbon along his forehead and stares at it for a moment. He had a slight idea. He wasn't sure if it would be something his uncle would approve of, but he still wanted to go along with it. He grabs his sword and heads out of his room. With the new idea in mind he changes his schedule and goes to speak with his uncle. He carefully stands before his door and bows as he speaks.

"Uncle,"

"Come in Wangji," he says.

Wangji slides the door open and enters the room. He walks over to his Uncle and bows with respect as always. His Uncle bows his head in greeting as he strokes his beard with stoic eyes looking toward his disciple.

"Uncle, I have a couple of requests..."

He knew where this was going. He knew what today was, and he knew that he would ask for something. Now that he knew what to expect, he was prepared to take on whatever was thrown his way. And REJECT any ideas immediately. But the requests Wangji makes leave him even more speechless. He knew his disciple had grown to be more bold, and unreasonable ever since Wei Wuxian had reentered into his life, but he never expected for him to change so much. After listening to his pleas he finally decides this once to agree to his requests. Only the reason why he chose to was because in reality he owes Wei Wuxian a great deal. He may not like his mischievous behaviors, nor does he like his practices, but the man had saved his life more than once. He changed Wangji, and it made him regret raising him the way that he did. He only wished for him to not make the same mistakes as his father, but in the end he did just that. He fell in love with someone, who was not someone of good taste. Disliked by many. And yet still chose to take him in and marry him. If he had trusted his disciple to have his own thoughts and desires, would things have ended differently back then? He was not sure. Either way he may as well pay back some of his debts today.

Once the two finish their exchange of words, Wangji heads out to visit Jiang Wangyin in his own home. The two still don't get along all that well, but he tolerates him for the sake of his husband. The moment he arrived to the entrance he is greeted by the loud barks of Jin Ling's dog Fairy. He stands before the canine and does not do anything.
