Your hands clenched tightly on the utensils you were holding. "Perfect. Where are they keeping her? I'd like to pay a visit." You said with a fake smile on your face. Erwin stared at you with a suspicious glint in his eyes. "It's not a good idea for a victim and a criminal to be seen together before a trial." He said in a firm tone.
"So I can pay her a visit then?" You hear Levi say beside you with an equally fake smile on his lips. Erwin and Hange stared at the two of you with baffled expressions. "You are perfect for each other. In more ways than one." Hange said, Erwin nodding beside her.
It came with no surprise when you found out the news come morning while reading a paper that said, Rosewood found injured: Both thumbs cut off. You scoffed and watched as Levi entered the meeting room late with a bloodstain on his shirt.
