"We are only as strong as we are united, as weak as we are divided." — Albus Dumbledore

...

It was soon dark out, and me and Scorpius changed into our Hogwarts robes. As Hogwarts gets nearer and nearer, I start worrying about the Sorting once again. What if I was in Slytherin?! What would happen then?!

"But if it matters to you, you'll be able to choose Gryffindor over Slytherin. The Sorting Hat takes your choice into account."

"Really?!"

"It did for me."

Dad's words rang in my ears, lowering my doubts a degree or two. Suddenly, I had an idea.

"Which House do you want to be in, Scorpius?" I asked him.

"Oh.. uh, any House would be fine, really.. But.. I think it would be best if I was in Slytherin. I have the highest chance at being a Slytherin too.." Scorpius replies.

"Ah.."

"What about you?" He asks.

"Well.. I- I want to be in Gryffindor.. But.. like you said, any House is good. But.. um.. I'm afraid that I'll be in Slytherin." I admit. "I.. I don't want to be in Slytherin.. Imagine that, Harry Potter's son, in Slytherin! No offense.. Though."

He gives a small laugh. "None taken. That makes sense.. A lot of Slytherins were once Death Eaters, or still are.. But not all of them are evil. My Mother and Father were both Slytherins but they're pretty nice." Scorpius says.

"Albus Severus,"

"You were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was a Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man I ever knew."

Listening to Scorpius's words, and remembering my Dad's, I feel a bit better.

"Yeah.. your right.. But it would be best if I was in Gryffindor or some other House than Slytherin.. What would that horrendous Skeeter woman say about that?!" I say, laughing.

Scorpius laughs too, but then he gasps out of nowhere.

"Wow! Look! I can see Hogwarts!" He says.

We stare out at the window until the thick trees block our view of the magnificent castle.

After a long time of finishing our treats, talking, and swapping jokes, the Hogwarts Express finally stops.

"We're here!" Scorpius says, his eyes wide.

"Yeah! Come on, let's get these down.." We both get our trunks out of the racks above the seats, and lugg them out of the compartment. As we walk out of the train, I see Rose with a black haired girl, walking quickly to a huge figure.

"First' years, first' years! Over here!" A giant fellow yells.

Me and Scorpius scramble up to him, and I hear Scorpius mutter a "wow." under his breath.

"Alrigh'.. That everyone? Okay.. follo' me!" The giant says.

"That's Hagrid, the gamekeeper." I hear someone whisper.

Soon, me, Scorpius, Hagrid, and the other first year students reach a wide, and open lake. On top, are about a dozen small boats, and Hagrid sits down on one of them, the boat rocking dangerously. "Okay, 4 to a boat! Hop on now, quickly!" Hagrid bellows.

Swiftly, all the first years sit down in their boats, me and Scorpius together. Rose sits down as well, and the black haired girl that was with her earlier, climbs in too.
