"Don't let the muggles get you down." — Ron Weasley
...
The night went by quickly. Scorpius soon woke up, and dragged himself out of bed, taking in his surroundings. He was at Hogwarts.. In the Slytherin dorms. Scorpius grinned, and proceeded to wake up his new friend, Albus Potter.
"Rise and shine mate! Wake up! Up! Up!!" Scorpius shouted, jumping onto Albus's bed.
"Ah! What the bloody hell mate! Merlin- what a way to wake up-" Al grumbled.
Scorpius laughed. "Come on, I have no idea how to find the Great Hall so we better wake up and get upstairs fast."
---
After finally getting dressed and ready in their Slytherin house robes and cloaks, they ran out of the green lit common room, out into the hallways of Hogwarts.
Hogwarts was huge, constantly changing, and moving, and it was quite hard to get around efficiently if you weren't familiar with the place. And so, Scorpius and Albus, their stomachs rumbling hungrily, searched for the Great Hall where breakfast was to be served.
Unfortunately, it was very hard to accomplish this. The 2 boys kept moaning about how everything at Hogwarts was too cool for its own good. (The stairs, for example) But then, Al and Scorpius found their friend from the feast yesterday.
"Albus! Scorpius! Hi!" Airana said grinning.
"Hey Airana." Al said, smiling feebly.
"What's up with you two?"
"Hunger." I said with a sigh. "We're lost and can't find the Great Hall."
"Ah." Airana said, nodding knowingly. "Me too Scorpius, me too. Why don't we try finding it together then? 3 minds are better than 2!" She says cheerfully.
"Good idea!" Albus says, and we both jog over to her, and walk side by side, chatting and smiling. Airana was quite a good friend!
"Oh! I forgot to tell you something Al. Your brother," She starts, her face one of disgust. "Is the most annoying and infuriating person I've ever met! I woke up today because HE, somehow, got into the girl's dormitories, and nearly made me go deaf! Yknow what he did?! He shouted in my ear! 'Wakey wakey, eggs and bakey! Come on ickle one, up you get! Up, up!' Was exactly what he said." Airana sighed. "I swear, I dunno how he even got into my dorms. And WHY he chose to scream in MY ear instead of someone else, like Rose.. I suppose I'm just unlucky." She says, shaking her head with a small smile.
Al laughed. "Yeah, he's a prankster alright."
I grinned. "At least he didn't pour ice cold water on your face. Once-"
But then I was interrupted. "Ooo, nice one Malfoy. That's a classic! Should try it on Rosher someday." James said, appearing out of nowhere, winking at Airana. Airana rolled her eyes.
"Potter, for Merlin's sake, PLEASE go away." She said angrily.
James smirked. "Well then. Sure, but y'know.. I know the way to the Great Hall... so you just lost a great opportunity." He said teasingly, seeing that we were lost.
"Psh, I'd rather starve than let you supposably lead us to the Great Hall." Airana said, flipping her long black ponytail. "You 2 can go with him, but I'll find the Great Hall on my own, thanks." She said.
James's eyes sparked with mischief. "Hm.. very confident are you? Why don't we make a bet? Whoever gets to the Great Hall first, wins, and the loser has to do a favor for the winner. Whatever it may be." He said.
