Next morning *
I was brushing out my hair when I heard shadow sniffing and stepping on the ground hard something was wrong I ran pulling my hair into a messy pony tail "shadow what's wrong!" I looked in the direction shadow was looking at "WhAt?!" It was people well kids actually 6 maybe fighting cranks "what are those idiots doing?!" I said looking at shadow who thought the same I ran inside grabbing my gun knives and bow as there was a lot of cranks and these kids weren't doing well I ran out getting on shadow "come on shadow let's go help these idiots" shadow nodded his head running towards them I stood on shadows back as I had good balance pulling the bow and arrow out pointing it at a crank I shot hitting the crank causing one of the boys to look at me in pure shock as shadow got closer I grabbed my knife hiding down with only my legs on shadow gagging upside down as I stab one of the cranks leg causing it to fall I pull ones myself up on shadow "turn shadow!" He did do I pulled out my gun shooting 3 down now everyone was looking at me I did a back walkover on shadows back to get a better shot at the crank I shot it down my hair fell out the pony tail causing it to flow in the wind "okay shadow halt" I patted shadow as he came to a stop I jumped off shadow "why hello there and who might y'all be" I said pulling a gun to them just in case" "woah woah we escaped wicked we are looking for something called the right arm" a boy dark hair tall brown eyes spoke "names?" I asked "I'm Thomas this is Minho,fry,newt, Teresa and Aris" I looked at each one one of them caught my eye but I ignored it "ooo a girl fun" I said smirking "hey but y'all are idiots do you really think you were going to survive fighting cranks by hand" I scoffed Minho rolled his eyes "oh sassy one" I grinned "here come with me" the looked hesitant "unless you wanna stay with the cranks" I spoke them quickly following as I got on shadows back shadow was I bit protective right now since new people were around me "hey shadow don't worry they try something off with there head" shadow lifted up his front body a bit agreeing causing me to laugh "so his name is shadow" Aris asked he was the one that caught my eye he was really cute shi* what are you thinking y/n "y-yeah" "that's a nice name by the way what's yours?" He asked "Names y/n" I smiled as he did so back too I noticed the gap in his teeth which made him all the more adorable"so how long have you been out here?" Thomas asked snapping me out of my thoughts "well um all my life I hid from wicked my mom caught the flare eventually so she well she died and my dad left when I was 9 so I've been alone since well besides shadow and some not so friendly cranks I'm 15 now so it's been a while honestly it surprises me how I'm still alive" I said a bit sad "sorry I shouldn't ha-" "hey it's fine I mean we all go through things right wicked takes everything from everyone so it's nothing new" they all looked at me taking pity "hey don't look at me like that I don't need pity I mean I survive right I ain't dying now" I said giggling "hey Teresa your in luck I have clothes that will fit you and they're really comfy" "ooo really?!" She said excited "yep" I giggled I whistled making shadow stop in front of the house I hoped off patting shadow to go rest "come on" as I lead them inside "y'all hungry" they nodded I laughed at there reaction "here sit I don't have much but I think I do have something you'll like" I walked over to the fridge which I had a cake I found once at a store and I told myself I would save it for something special this was pretty special "have y'all ever heard of cake I've heard you got your memories swiped well I don't know if was just a rumor I heard" they nodded "we did get our memories swiped" "so do you know what cake is?" They nodded a no "well today's your lucky day" I smirked placing the cake on the table "have at it I'll bring some water" they started eating as I went to get some water for them "dang this water is so hard to get out the pack" I mumbled under my breath as I finally got the water out I grabbed 7 waters as one was for shadow I stood up with waters all over my arms as I struggled to hold them I stepped but caught my foot on a wood board tripping but someone caught me as I dropped the waters"woah you okay" I looked up it was Aris I felt the heat rise to my face as I looked down "y-yeah thanks" "let me help" he said picking up some of the waters as we walked to the others "something wrong we heard a thud "yeah I just tripped but Aris caught me next time I should try to not carry so many bloody water bottles by myself" Aris scoffed out a laugh earnings a few grins from the guys I looked at them confused but ignored it "shadow! Want some water!" I yelled hearing shadow stomp his foot "okay okay I'm coming Jesus" newt and Minho scoffed a laugh "hey can I come?" Teresa asked "sure and I can show you some clothes" I grabbed her hand pulling her over to where shadow was I opened the water putting it in the bowl I didn't say anything but I could tell shadows time was well you know I kissed shadows nose "hey lets go see those clothes of mine" Teresa nodded we walked over to my room I looked inside for some clothes "hey are you guys gonna spend the night cause I could get you some pajamas and then give you clothes to change into for tomorrow since I guess your leaving" I said the last part a bit sad it was nice to have people to talk to "yeah that sounds great are pajamas soft?" "Very" I spoke excited " gave her some pajamas putting some on myself I had a
