I woke up the next day to someone stroking my hair I opened my eyes slowly seeing as the light began to come into view I looked up "morning sassy pants" aris spoke I smiled still half asleep "who knew a dork could be so comfy" I said yawning he scoffed
Out a laugh as I got up going to go check up on shadow which wasn't that far I walked over "hey shadow what's some food" shadow quickly got up when I mentioned there was food "yah yah okay okay I'm getting it" I said laughing grabbing a carrot and feeding it to him aris came over watching me feed shadow half the carrot "do you wanna try?" "Sure" I handed aris half the carrot showing him how to put his hand to feed him shadow started eating it and actually got along well with aris "wow he likes you he doesn't really enjoy new people around me but it seems he likes you" I giggled "really?" "Yeah it could be that or the fact your giving him food" I laughed "hey shadow do you like aris is he not annoying" "hey!" Aris yelled glaring shadow began to stomp his foot excitedly I smiled " okay so you like him but who do you like better me or him" o spoke putting a questionable look on my face shadow walked over to me "ha I'm the favorite" I said sticking my tongue out at aris he rolled his eyes I gasped dramatically "the audacity" we both bursted out laughing "okay okay let's go to the others the suns almost all the way up we walked to the others which were still asleep but two of them looked oddly cuddly Thomas and Teresa were cuddling I looked over at aris smiling holding in a laugh he did the same we started to wake people up I smirked when I got to Minho he was laying face done so I did the only sensible thing and sat on top of him he quickly woke up "hey who is sitting on me!" He mumbled into his backpack which his head was laying on I giggled "y/n! I'll kill you" Minho mumbled again "not if shadow murders you first" I spoke in a sass getting off him as he turned around glaring at me he was about to scream something "shh look" I pointed at Thomas and Teresa cuddling he help back a laugh Minho walked up to them slowly "HEY LOVEBIRDS WAKE UP!" He shouted right in front of them as they both snapped away realizing what was happening going away from each other everyone started laughing well except them "shut up y/n you lik-" I ran up to her covering her mouth "don't you dare" I playfully glared at her which she giggled at the guys looked beyond confused Thomas gasped
"Y/n you like someone!" Thomas yelled which I blushed but quickly collected myself "yes myself" I said with sass getting up flipping my hair "I mean look at me I'm flawless" I laughing at my remark walking over to shadow

"Hey shadow you ready"he nodded "here let's put the plaster on your feet so they don't burn to death" he slowly walked up to me he wasn't getting any better I sighed putting the plaster on his hooves and getting his bag over his back I grabbed his rope walking to the others when something happened the sky it started to become gray quickly becoming black I could tell shadow was uneasy when BANG! I looked behind me in shock a huge struck of lightning not far off hit the ground burning it black charcoal "shadow we gotta go" I got on shadows back tapping his side which he understood to go we got to the others "GO WE HAVE TO GET OUT GO!" They all looked at me in shock but nodding as they started running "OVER THERE I SEE A BUILDING" Thomas yelled I kept behind them just in case anyone fell or got knocked but to my surprise they were pretty fast runners BANG! Another lightning stuck this time to close to me and shadow for my liking shadow was really becoming uneasy BANG! BANG! more and more lightning came Aris kept looking back at me but I just motioned him to keep going which he hesitantly did BANG! "Shi*" then BANG lighting stuck this time infront of me and shadow which made him lose control I tried to calm him but he was too stress he started dashing another direction "shadow" I tried to speak but shadow was running far to fast I help on to him not wanted to fall off as that would insure my death at this point
"Y/N!" I heard someone scream I knew it was aris but I just shut my eyes holding onto shadow as he went about her direction he was scared but so was I at some point I couldn't hear the banging of lightning but it was still dark and gray shadow started to calm down slow king down his speed I looked behind me just pure desert the guys or building were outta sight "peachy just peachy" shadow looked at me with what I could tell was guilt "hey it's okay boy you were just scared I was too we will get out of this and find them again okay it's not so hard before them it was just you and me against the world we can do it again" he seemed to calm down but sadness over came me alone again it never changes does it everyone always seems to be taken or just walking away why is that why does everyone leave I felt a tear drop down my eye I quickly wiped it away "no no crying y/n you can do this you can" I tapped shadow on his side as he started walking "so they said they were going to the mountains they are a bit far but hopefully we can make it" I bit of concern in my voice we didn't have much food I had dropped my bag that had food and water as well as weapons all I had now was a knife and a gun with 3 bullets cranks were out there how long could We really last
