Y/n POV
We've been walking for days dehydrated and starving I had only a carrot left that I would cut into small small pieces each day to feed shadow he was sick and this wasn't helping but I could do anything we walked for 6 hours today it was night time as I layer next to shadow who was asleep I just stared at the stars counting them making shapes out of them I missed the guys and Teresa I missed aris "that dork" I scoffed out a quite laugh I heard an engine a car like noise "car? There's no cars her-" I was cut off by my shock as I looked behind me it was a car with 5 guards "shi* shadow wake up shadow quickly got up as I did so as well they saw us taking out GUNS my eyes widen as I pull out my gun but knowing I only have 3 bullets I don't shoot yet mistake the guards shot one of them shooting my shoulder "ahh!" Then I looked over 2 of them were about to shoot me again but shadow stepped in-front of me shot "SHADOW!" He fell to the ground breathing heavy I wanted to go over to him but I had to kill these mean before they kill both of us I grabbed my gun in one had knife in the other dogging the bullets as best I could running over to them as they all jumped out the car I shot one of the dead fight the others one of them stabbed me on the leg "UGH! Son of a" I shot him in the head as he fell I shot another which was about to pick me "well out of bullets I tried to grab the guards gun but one of them grabbed me as I pulled my hand stabbing then as the fell to the ground bleeding to death I pulled the knife out running to the last one as he attempted to shoot me but missed I slid down stabbing both of his ankles causing him to fall in pain I took his gun shooting him dead as I dropped the gun limping over to shadow tears running down my eyes as I saw him there laying weak I went to him as he looked at me he wasn't gonna make it he was too weak " it's okay boy it's okay you did good" tears fell down my face non stop "it's okay boy you took care of me more than anyone in this world could I love you okay I always will" I stoked his mane sobbing "you did good boy you'll always be my number one through thick and thin I know you can't hold on anymore I know you can go boy it's okay I love you" shadow nodded to me weakly as he slowly closed his eyes I hugged he's lifeless body sobbing I'll miss you boy I kissed his nose I slowly got up my legs shaking tears flowing down my face I look over at the guard I just killed he had a uniform "wicked" I read the tag anger lashing my words "you took everything away from me" I clinched my fist grabbing one of the guys guns getting into the car I sat down my leg screaming with pain "ugh" I turned the key fully starting the car as I began to drive not daring to look back at the horrifying scene that had just played out "one day wicked one day I'll kill you" I mumbled under my breath driving off towards the mountains
