"Soon may the Weller man come, to bring us sugar and tea and rum! One day when the tonguing is done, we'll take our leave and go!"

The tavern was filled with singing from men from a song I started when Venti begged for me to do the singing as payment for the drinks.

Diluc practically scolded Venti for using me like that while Crepus didn't have a problem with it.

Good thing I listen to music that might and would fit this world's era???

"This song is bound to be written in history for sure!" Venti said half sober half-drunk from his cider and beer.

I shook my head a bit and laughed. Typical of Venti to get drunk like this, what was to be expected of his side of the change.

Time flew by quickly as it seemed the sky was getting a bit darker. I had remembered that I promised mom I'd be back today... Oops... But time flies slower here right? I should have enough time before I go home, a break from my brother is good once in a while from all his jibber-jabber of how I should grow up, and imaginary friends at this age is weird.

Speak for himself, he's a gamer who fawns over waifus.

I watched as the people continued to celebrate Diluc's birthday. Sooner or later, I felt Crepus placed a hand on my shoulder. "It's getting late, we should all go home," he said to me and Diluc.

"And what about Kaeya?" I asked, tilting my head a bit, "shouldn't he come home with us?"

"Yes, but, the Knights of Favonius are different when it comes to training and working," Crepus explained.

"No rest for the strength they say," Diluc said as I raised a brow.

"Don't you mean, sleep is for the weak?" I replied.

"Is that how they say it in your city?" Diluc asked.

"In terms of language... Yes lol," I replied.

"L-o...l?"

"... I forgot some things I know are not common here," I mumbled to myself and went back to watching the tavernas lively as it is.

I know I should also be heading back home to my world, after all, tomorrow there, it's going to be my birthday. Then again, time here and there flies so differently.

Either way, I explained to Venti, at least before he passed out from his drinking, that I was heading home with Diluc and Crepus.

"Already??" Venti whined. "But I still want to catch- *hic* -up..."

"Tomorrow Venti, tomorrow," I replied and pat his cheek to keep him awake, though it was a failed attempt.

A few minutes later...

I had helped Diluc and Crepus get everyone out as the tavern had closed off for the night and we were heading back to the carriage.

"Hey, Diluc?" I began, "Now that you're eighteen, wouldn't it be time for you to find a girlfriend?"

Diluc seemed to nearly trip over his own feet as his father laughed a bit. "N-No one has time for a relationship, especially with me with all my work at the Tavern and training in the Knights of Favonius." He replied, stuttering his words a bit and looking away, his cheeks were red.

"Aahh well to me, it doesn't matter, dating can wait if you want to focus on your work," I replied, "Work is important and also important when it comes to loving yourself," I said.

"...what?" Diluc said cluelessly.

"My mother taught me that," I giggled. "Should we say goodbye to Kaeya first?"
