"What... What's going on?!" Paimon said in a frantic tone. "Did she just say Rex Lapis is... The Geo Archon...is... DEAD?!"
"YEA! NO SHIT! HONEY!" I exclaimed and lifted and carried Venti on my back.
"Oh no, the Millelith! Looks like they're nabbing suspects who got too close!" Paimon added in, making the feeling of anxiety even more worse. "Paimon's freaking out... The killer is amongst us!"
For some reason I can here the Among Us music... But enough of that!
"Wait... We got close... Are we suspects?!" Paimon exclaimed. Before I could even open my mouth to speak, Aether grabbed my wrist as we began to make a run for it while hiding out of plain sight from the guards. "Wait, where are you going?!"
We can't fall into their hands... Aether thought to himself in silence. Seems the traveler has some skills when it comes to sneaking around.
This place is crawling with guards... We peeked behind a bush as we slowly tiptoed our way close to the stairs.... But my heel accidentally stepped on a pebble, making even the smallest sound alert the guard nearby.
"You! Stop right there!" A guard yelled.
"Yikes! Run!" Paimon exclaimed as Aether ran down the stairs while I followed, making sure I don't drop Venti on the way down. We turned a corner only to be stopped by the guards from both ends, cornering me, Venti, Paimon, and Aether.
"There's nowhere left to run!" The guard said pointing his sword at us. Aether took out his sword while I was just on my ready stance, ready to use my legs to fend them off since I have my arms occupied on keeping Venti on my back secured.
"Hey girlie, hold still..~" a voice said. As hydro arrows shot pass my head and hitting the guards' hands, making them drop their weapons.
I turned to look back and only saw a ginger haired man jump out of hiding, landing in front of us. He was able to take the Millelith head on with his bow.... Er... Hydro dual swords- wait how does that even work?! Either way, he took them all down with ease.
Just who is this guy...? Wait... I need to think... My brother mentioned him on multiple occasions before when he was playing...what was his name...? Ed Sheeran? No no..he just looks like that...
"Stop! Stop!" More guards from above began to arrive.
"come with me," the man said as he bolted down the path first. I looked to Aether and Paimon before following the man and Aether trailing behind.
A few minutes later...
I was fanning Venti with my hands while Aether and Paimon we're catching their breath. "Phew... Paimon's exhausted..."
