The sound of silence...
The darkness surrounding every corner of one's mind...
Old friend, can you hear me?
...

It's time to wake up now...
The sound of silence... Was soon filled with a song, a soft song familiar to the ears of one who had lived long before...
After that... The sound of chirping can be heard and I finally opened my eyes, only to be met by the high sun glaring down at me. Where....where am I... The ground I lay down on... Feels soft...and grainy...
"Aether look! She's waking up!" A high-pitch voice called as the sound of footsteps running on sand.
"Hey! Are you okay?" Another voice asked as the young male knelt beside me. I looked at him for a moment and took in his facial features.. blonde hair, exotic clothing, long braid with it, A floating child- a floating child??
I finally sat up and groaned.
"Easy there, that was quite a fall... I should apologize for that," the boy said with a worried look. "I was just trying to get a new companion to keep me company in my journey to find my sister..."
"Hey! Is Paimon not enough now!?" The child whined, stomping her foot in midair before crossing her arms.
I looked at them for a moment. "Where...where am I?" I asked cluelessly.
"Huh? Oh right! Paimon forgot to mention why we were here in the first place.." The child, named Paimon replied, "But the traveler here actually summoned you using a fateful stone that grants one's wish!"
"I didn't think I'd get a companion on just making one wish." The traveler, who I assumed to be Aether, held out his hand to me to help me back up my feet.
I took his hand and soon got off the ground as I dust off any sand and dirt on me... That was when I realized my clothing.
"We're at Falcon Coast at the moment looking for the Lost Arcadian Ruins! One that holds a super-duper powerful sword that can kill eight-headed banshees and silver-haired hydras!" Paimon went as Aether facepalmed.
"Paimon, we've been through this... It's Eight-headed hydras and silver-haired banshees.." Aether replied, correcting her voice of words.
"That's what Paimon said!" Paining replied to him.
I wasn't paying attention as I was patting my clothes for something. "....where's my phone.." I asked soon getting the attention of the two.
"Phone?" Paint repeated, "what's that?" She asked with a confused look.
"It's ... It's an um..." I began, not knowing how to explain it to a floating child. I only sighed deeply. "Man... If mom finds out I lost my phone. Better if found broken! Ooooh, I'll be having my head right on a plate .." I whined to myself.
"Huh... Guess we were wrong about you." Paimon said.
I perked up and looked at them for a moment, clearly confused.
