Modern World...

Both Y/n and B/n's father had just recently returned from his usual trips across the world, expanding his business, and earning quite the grand of money for his family. He rarely was at home and had barely made memories with his children, but at a certain day like this of him returning home only to find out his children had gone somewhere, he couldn't even contacted them. Their calls went straight to voicemail.

"Dear, the children are safe, you needn't worry much," M/n said as she rubs his back.

"M/n, how can you be so sure?" Their father replied, "even if they are safe, could it be that they do not want to see their old father? Perhaps out of spite for not being there for them when they were younger... Perhaps I should have been a stay at home dad."

"Sweetie, it's not you... It's just that those two need to fix their brother and sister relationship." She replied, "and this trip to Teyvat for them will help them grow closer again."

"Tey....vat?" The father asked as he scowled.

"It's a wide world out there, they'll be fine, a mother's instinct is never wrong you know~" M/n hummed with ease. "Well, you must be starving, I'll prepare us some dinner, you just rest and catch on a nap, dear~ As I said, the kids are just fine so don't worry so much."

The father just sighed and turned on the TV in the living room while his wife went to the kitchen to cook dinner.

"How could you do this to us, Y/n." Moon Carver said as he circles around me as I sat on the ground fiddling with my fingers like a child getting scolded. "Why did you let us think you died? Why the mortal disguise? Why are you acting like a clueless being? Why didn't you come see any of us when you were around?"

"Too many questions..." I said and only received a glare by Moon Carver. "Aha....um.. Y-You see..." It was hard to explain the situation.... But I did my best and most of it.... Partial part of it were half the truth.

"So.... You have nine lives, yet you already wasted two lives...." He highlighted the important part that he was tuned in on. "Let me guess... Most of your reasons were out of pure "gut telling and feeling"... Am I correct or am I not."

"You got that right," I sighed, "the first life WAS-"

"You went ahead to the war without thinking of the consequence... You have left a deep impression of stupidity in the Adeptus such as I and the rest." Moon Carver interrupted me.

"...right... Then my second life... Was that I saved the father of my two mortal, yet hot, best friends since childhood... And they are five hundred years younger... Six hundred??" I said trying to correct myself but only ended up confusing my mind even more. "Whatever, they were around after the war and all."

"I see..." He replied, leaving at that with silence before speaking softly once more after a sigh. "... I am relief you are here now. Please do not end up dying again. Just because you are a god, does not mean you cannot die." He looked up just on time to see Aether had beaten the last soldier while the rest ran away. He nudged my back, telling to get up. "Do not waste your remaining seven lives..."

With that, the two of us walked back down the path to meet with Venti, Paimon, and Aether.

Aether gave the explanation as to why we were here in the first place after the fight... There was silence in the atmosphere before Moon Carver spoke. "Preposterous.... PREPOSTEROUS!!!" Moon Carver's words boomed like thunder after we told him of the passing of the Geo Archon. I get it uncle, I would be mad too......if it was real of course. I feel sad... But at the same time, I feel like... He didn't die at all. "The Liyue Qixing... Utterly disappointing. How could someone possibly assassinate Rex Lapis during the Rite of Descension... And then place suspicion upon the attendees?!"
