The next morning...

Everyone had gone home by now after that eventful night of Jean's party celebration and appreciation. Aether and I stayed in one of the houses that weren't occupied in Monstadt thanks to Jean. Since I didn't drink that much I was perfectly fine and up early that morning and just wandered about the city.

I had to avoid the sight of the Fatui of course, didn't want them bothering my morning walk... I greeted a few citizens that I passed and was humming to myself to keep me entertained... and what perfect song would it be I wonder... why, the song that suits Monstadt...

I walked up the stairs, heading to the plaza where Barbatos' statue stood in front of the cathedral. There were people up there already this early to pray to their god.

I hopped over the small little water stream that circles the statue and began climbing around its robe as a few people took notice of me, telling me I shouldn't climb the statue like this. I only looked at them innocently and shrugged before climbing around the statue to get to the top.

I reached the arms and balanced myself as I began walking to the outstretched cupped hands where Aether and Venti would always sit in the game, singing the song a little louder so the people below could hear.

I just wanted to see what their reaction would be to this song someone made for them.

I finally sat down on the hands as the wind was blowing past me and the birds chirping away in the sky as they settled down on Venti's wings watching with curiosity.

I don't have a lyre or f/i (Favorite instrument), so I just went how the beat and the music would go in my head since I also do not have my earphones and my PHONE. I only let out a short sigh.

With a feather of an eagle, the bard was entranced

Other people who have begun to do their morning routine, stopped what they were doing and gathered around below me as I sat there swinging my legs and looking up at the sky.

Aether and Paimon were up and about themselves as they seem to catch wind of what was happening. Not long after, words reached the others as well as they all went to the statue, even Venti, even though he had a hungover still as he climbed the wall to get there rather than using the long menacing stairs.

B/n bursts through the front door as he sees his mom just relaxed and watching hallmark movies to pass the time. She perked up and smiled at B/n. "Welcome home sweetie, did you find Y/n yet?" She asked.

"No, but all I found is this new banner in Genshin..." B/n said glaring at his phone before showing it to her. "You seriously seem indifferent to this kind of situation mom. Why is that?"
