It felt like hours before we reached the actual end of the corridor. Turns out there was a corner right beside the little room we were trapped in, and where Timmy was in now, probably still knocked out cold. Or gave up trying to escape, either way, I didn't care. As long as he was nowhere near us.

"Where to now?" I sighed, slumping against the rock wall, and closing my eyes.

"I guess we could go through that door..." He trailed off, and I opened my eyes, confusion written in them.

"What door, Jess?" I asked, he just looked past me, behind me even, although there wasn't anything to look at behind there...

I stood up off of the wall, and turned on my heels. A dull gasp escaped me, and I slowly turned my gaze upwards, now looking at a heavy looking door, probably as tall as a house. I mean, it was huge! Whatever lay behind this door must be big...

"Well what are we waiting for?" I breathed, immediately going for the giant door that lay before us. It was practically written on it, this is where they are! It's where they have to be! I mean, that food poison he gave me couldn't have lasted long, and this was only around the corner from where Timmy lay now, so this has to be it!

"Well.. should we go in? I mean, it seems kinda... scary.. eerie..?" He tried to think of words as he went along, but I ignored him, walking back toward the door I had stumbled back from.

He just slowly followed behind me, the floors squeaking and groaning as he walked closer to me, almost hiding from the door.

I reached my hand out, and pulled on the huge handle. It clicked, and for a second I thought it was locked, but after tugging for another second, it slid open, with great effort, of course.

Jess and I walked right through the door, I was kind of expecting an alarm to start shrieking, peeling off guards from the walls or something, but as we walked in, the door stayed open, and we went farther and farther into the long corridor that stretched out ahead.

"There's no doors, Casey. Besides the one at the end of the corridor.." Jess said, and I glanced to my left, no doors. Glanced to my right, no doors.

   He was right.

"My, there has to be something important at the end of that door if there's as long a corridor as this!  Let's go!" I said, starting for the door at the end.

"Alright, but what if the door slams shut? I mean, we've already come a little ways, if we go too far, we won't be able to make it!" Jess said, almost whispering.

"Jess, why are you so frightened?" I whispered back, taking ahold of his hand. He squeezed it, then sighed.

"I- I don't know, Cas'. Okay, let's go, you're right." He pulled me along now, but he didn't have to pull far, we were at the door by now, almost as big as the one before it.

I cautiously reached my hand out, but when my hand barely touched the handle, the door just squeaked open. Only about an inch, but it made is both jump. I pulled my hand back.

"Ready?" I whispered. I felt terrified now, there was nothing there, as I could see. It was very dark. I thought maybe this could be it, but then I thought, it's too easy.

Jess nodded, and we both stepped ahead into the pitch darkness. The door didn't slam behind us. We didn't get tackled to the ground, then punched out. Nothing. We just walked deeper into darkness.

"This is too easy, Jess." I whispered.

"You know, just because it's dark, doesn't mean you have to whisper." Jess said, almost chuckling.
