CHAPTER THREE: MY JOB

(Rachel's POV)

      FLASHBACK...........
 
         I won that contest. I won in the Romance category with my story, A Summer Breeze. And it became a real book. I felt so alive, me becoming a real author at the age of 16. I breezed through college and graduated at the age of 18. Now, I still pursued my passion and became a writer, an author. That is my job.

      BACK IN THE PRESENT......

      
        I was working on the manuscript of my new book, A Winter Snow, when Hana, my assistant, came in.

         "Miss Levin, I need to remind you that tomorrow, you have book signing at the bookstore. And Harold will be needing the manuscript for Chapter 25 for editing. ........"

        She kept going and going. I was really busy, but that came with the job. Finally, I said....

        "Alright, I did not forget about the signing. And as for the manuscript, I am working on it. I am a little stuck on the ending. Ok, so stop ranting, I cannot focus!"

        "Sorry ma'am. I did not mean to be rude."

        "Its okay, Hana. I know you haven't gotten a lot of rest too this past few days. Take the rest of the day off, there won't be anything happening for the rest of the day anyway."

            She thanked me and went home.   

          As for me, I decided to go to a nearby cafe. My mind relaxes outdoors and I always go there when I have a writer's block.

         On my way there, I saw a store with a nice dress that I liked. I was so into it that I wasn't looking where I was going. I was so unfocused that I bumped into a young man, causing my notebook and wallet to fall and spill all its contents.

         The young man was gracious enough to help me pick up my stuff. He was wearing a nice shirt with a long overcoat on. With long black pants and a hat on his head, he was a handsome man.

        He stood up and gave me my stuff. I wanted to thank him but he quickly ran away. But he had dropped something, a wallet. I looked inside and saw his I.D. It read...

       I did not know what to think. But, I knew I had to talk to him. I knew that I needed to see his face after 3 years of separation. I needed to tell him I loved him, even until now. I started running towards his direction and I finally caught up to him. I was finally able to see him.
