CHAPTER 30.5

(Cameron's POV)

My brother? In love with Cassie?

I really need to tell Rachel about this. I know I promised Chad, but I can't keep anything from Rachel.

I was in our room on the bed. Rachel was in the bathroom brushing her teeth. She finished up and got under the covers.

"Rachel..."

"Cameron..."

Weirdly, we said that at the same time.

"You go first." I said.

"Okay, now Cassie's gonna kill me for telling you this, but I can't keep anything from you."

This sounded familiar.

"Cam, Cassie likes Chad."

Okay, so that's why.

"Really? Interesting." I had a smirk on my face.

Rachel saw it and questioned me about it.

"Cam, why are you smiling like that?"

"Well, dear, I'm smiling because what I was about to tell you was that, Chad likes Cassie."

Then, relief coursed through her face.

"He does?"

"Yeah, and he would kill me if he knew I told you."

"Well, we can't just let this information slip by, can we?"

"No, we can't."

"Thinking what I'm thinking?"

"We find some way to get them together?"

"Exactly. I've got it!"

"What?"

"The wedding. Why don't we pair them up, he'll be one of your groomsmen and Cassie will be one of my bridesmaids, so why not?"

"Genius! Gosh, this is why I proposed."

"Just because I'm smart?"

"What, of course not. It's one of the reasons."

"Uh-huh..."

"Rachel..."

"I'm just teasing, you little idiot."

Then, our lips were sealed in a tight kiss.
