(Rachel's POV)

"I like that one."

Cassie said, pointing to the beautiful white wedding gown on the rack.

"Me too, but I want an original gown. Many brides would love that gown and I don't want to be like them. Why don't you get that when you get married? Maybe with Chad?"

"Rachel! Stop it. We're not even together yet."

"Yeah yeah."

Just then, Valerie came in.

"Hey, Val, thanks for making my dress."

"Hey, anything for family."

Valerie Carson, my cousin on my mom's side. She's an amazing fashion designer who just graduated from a fashion designing course in an Ivy League school.

"Rachel, you sure you wanna entrust this important job to me? I just graduated."

"Val, I believe in you, you can do this."

"Thanks, Rachel. Now, what do you have in mind?"

"I want a pristine white gown that has a low love heart neckline but not too low though. I want the sleeves to be made out of lace or silk or something, and some intricate patterns on it. Some little gems on the torso and I want the skirt part of the dress to be flowy and light. I don't want to be carrying something heavy on my wedding day."

"Okay, anything else?"

"Nothing specific on the gown. But, I want the veil to be light too."

"Of course."

She spent a few minutes sketching on her sketchbook. After some time, she showed me her finished product.

"I... I love it!"

"You... you do?"

"Yeah! See, I told you that you could do it!"

"Thanks!"

I hugged her tightly.

"Rachel, put me down!"

"No!"

And then she looked at me with puppy eyes.

"Fine!"

I set her down.

"And the bridesmaids' dresses? Got anything planned?"

"Actually, I do."

"Well, hit me with it."

"I was thinking of something pinkish but not like bright pink, like a subtle pink."

"Okay, and then?"

"I was just thinking off-shoulder, maybe a straight neckline, some gems here and there, and the skirt to be long and flowy. Maybe a bit, just a tad bit shorter in the front and longer in the back."

"Okay, anything else?"

"Not really."

She continued sketching a bit, and the final result was amazing!

"Perfect! You really are amazing, Val."

"Thanks, couz."

******

(Cameron's POV)

"Mom, you think Rachel will like the suit?"

"Of course she will. When you're in love with someone, everything about that person is amazing."

"Well, I guess you're right."

"Of course I am, I'm your mother."

"Ha ha."
