CHAPTER ELEVEN

(Rachel's POV)

I asked him out..... sort of. I just wanted to treat him out on his birthday. His 20th birthday. He is 6 months older than me.

His birthday is in two days. Just two days to prepare. I needed to start preparing.

I started to make a list of the things that I needed to prepare....

To Do List

Make reservations at a restaurant.

Adjust schedule.

Get him a present.

Oh yeah, a present! It's his birthday, I need to get him a present. Uhm......... what should I get him?

Gosh, I don't know what to get him! I don't know what to get the love of my life for his birthday.

I spent an hour thinking about it until I got the perfect idea. I dug through my box of old stuff that was lying under my bed. I ruffled and ruffled until I found a small envelope.

The small envelope that was key to my gift to him. I opened it and found what I was looking for. Pictures of us when we were in school.

I took the envelope and went to my room. I went to my cabinet of art supplies.

Yes, I have a cabinet of art supplies.

I got some colored paper, cardboard, and some ribbon and procceeded to my table.

I got started on my gift. A scrapbook filled with pictures of us. It took me about 2 hours to finish it.

I was satisfied with the result. I was so proud of it.

I was so tired after all of that. I took a quick shower and went to sleep...

The next morning

I woke up with a jolt. I went to the kitchen and saw Rita making some eggs and bacon. I sat down on the dining table and ate breakfast.

After breakfast, I went to Chez Havana and made reservations for two for tomorrow.

After that, I just proceeded with my normal everyday tasks. I went home and ate dinner with Rita and Harry.

Before I went to bed, I received a call from Cameron...

Hey! Just wanted to check in.

Hey Cameron! Can't wait for tomorrow.

Yeah, me too. Are you sure about this? Aren't you like super busy?

Nope. I already arranged my schedule. There will be no interferences tomorrow.

Well okay. What time should we meet?

How about Highland Park at 5:30?

That would be perfect! See you there.

Everything was set. I was almost ready for tomorrow. Just needed to prepare one more thing...

My Confession

I had been thinking about it all day. And I had decided... I am going to confess tomorrow.

I mean, tomorrow would be perfect! Plus, I had to take the chance while I still had it.

He doesn't look like he has a girlfriend. I got nothing to lose!

I can do it. I can do it. I WILL do it!

Tomorrow, tomorrow is the day I confess my love to Cameron!
