Goodbye*

On  Monday, Yuzuru was back to his intense training schedule before the NHK but seeing Anya constantly reading something and preparing for her final exam, he wasn't worried about leaving her home alone, considering she was completely lost in her own world.
But once Tuesday came, he cut his training short to make sure to at least have a little longer evening with her, before she leaves.
When he got home, he took a quick shower and went to his room. Slightly disappointed seeing that it didn't seem she missed him or that she is worried they won't see each other for so long. She was just laying in the bed in her pajamas, flipping through her notes, a satisfied smile on her face.

-Judging from your face, I assume you are ready for the exam tomorrow?

-Yeah, I was going through it several times, but can't find any catch in it, something I could struggle with. It seems fairly easy....

-So will you put the notes down and pay at least a little bit of attention to your boyfriend before you leave?

She threw the notes on the floor and pulled him into the bed with her.

-Sorry. I don't want to be ignoring you, it's just that I often lose track of time or forget where I am when I am reading or studying.

-It's okay, I have the same when I am skating.....but don't touch those notes for the rest of the night, please.

-I won't.

-Are you sure there is no way how I can go with you to the airport tomorrow?

Anya had her final exam early in the morning at the University, first written, then oral, and then quickly running to the airport to catch her flight. Fitting seeing Yuzuru in there one last time seemed almost impossible.

-I will really have no time there. I will have to finish my exam way under the time limit, to even catch the flight.

-And you called me confident....

-Well normally it would not be possible, but since I am taking it individually, the professors will be there only for me and Viktor, it won't be an issue. They already read the draft of my thesis before I had to re-write it.

-Wait a minute, Viktor will be there with you? You will see him last before going away and not me?

-Yuzu, you know you can't just get rid of all the men on the planet, right? He is a nice, good guy and there is nothing between us, only friendship for almost two years.

Yuzuru sighed, trying to suppress the feeling of jealousy, knowing very well he trusted Anya completely and knew she had no feelings for the guy anymore. But it was still making him uncomfortable.

-Alright, alright....will you at least text me from the airport? And when you land? Just that I know you are alive?

-I will.

-And then you will disappear into your zone again, I assume....

-Yeah....but I will try to message you here and there, okay? And---

She was wondering if she should tell him or not, but in the end, seeing his concerned expression, she decided to proceed.

---And usually, the matches are streamed....

-WHAT?!!

Anya scratched her head nervously, regretting she even said anything.

-Yeah, I am sure you will find a stream somewhere online.

-I will be able to watch you play?

-Well with the time difference it might be late at night or too early in the morning,  especially once you are in Japan, but there will be some replays I'm sure....If you dive into the depths of the chess world on the internet, I am sure you will find something.
