The Princess Test

Chapter 26

Raven's head shot up in surprise. She saw Robin. "Raven! Don't give up! I know you can do it! With or without powers!" He yelled. All of a sudden, blue flashes of lighting shot out and electrocuted the dog, freeing Raven. Eyes wide, she looked at what she had just caused. When Robin believed in her, no when he wanted her to win, her powers flaired. 'Of course!' She thought. She had the power of Lust! Which drew it's powers from someone wanting something. And when Robin wanted her to win, he created love lust-which means wanting for a loved one to win badly.

Raven smiled. She at last could use a power. But she will need help. "Everyone! I need your help! I have my brother Lust's powers. His powers only work if someone wants something badly, so I want you all to think of a thing you want badly!" She called to her audience. They looked at each other as if confused but then nodded and thought hard.

Raven quickly harnessed all of their lust and pointed an electric beam at Envy. Shooting him with it made him fall backwards and crash into the wall. Raven started flying up and up and her eyes started lighting up with electricity, she floated her way to Envy. "You may have my powers brother, but you have no idea how to use them!" * She summoned a huge ball of lightining and threw it at Envy which shocked him enough for him to be knocked out.

Raven was declared the winner of the match. As soon as her feet touched the ground, she fell to her knees. She definitely wasn't used to the magnitude of power which was required to harness Lust's powers. She quickly dragged her way into the waiting area. There would be only one match per sibling with the exception of Greed, who had somehow managed to get drawn twice due to the odd number of siblings.

Once everyone's matches were over and done with, they switched their powers over by means of Eryn's help and everyone stumbled into their room's for a long needed nap. The match didn't even take the entire afternoon, which meant that they had the rest of the afternoon and evening to themselves and Raven intended to spend the rest of the day sleeping.

Robin was already in the room when she dragged herself in. He was lying on the bed, looking up at the ceiling, without his mask on. Raven took a moment to admire the blue in his eyes. He had never seen Robin without his mask on before. But that moment quickly passed. "Get off my bed." She grumbled. He smiled at her. "Thought you needed a softer pillow. This one's kinda hard." He patted the pillow he was lying on. Raven rolled her eyes but didn't reject his offer. She climbed onto the bed with him and rested her head on his chest. As she drifted into sweet slumber, she heard Robin say "I love you."

*If Envy knew how to use Raven's powers at all, he would've known to create a shield to block himself from Raven's attack.
