Raven considered her options. I could be normal or, i could be a Teen Titan. While being normal would be amazing, Raven couldnt think of a life where she had never met the Titans. A life like that.... wasnt worth living in her opinion.
Without a second thought, she jumped through the second portal. Through that, two lights flashed out. One revealing Robin and the other, a group of Azarath's citizens. "I will kill one. But which one? You make the decision. Will you save your beloved Robin or your subjects?"
Her shoulders slouched. She was at a loss now. Save the boy she cared most about or the people she didn't know, but trusted them with all their hearts. It was an impossible decision and she paced about wondering that. She can't possibly send Robin for death, she would never be able to live with herself. But at the same time, she couldn't kill of her subjects. This was becoming an impossible decision. She kept pondering until the point where she thought the kingdom got annoyed and impatient and said "You have a minute, until I kill all of them."
Now Raven was really in full panic. She kept thinking and thinking until finally, at the thirty second mark, she realized something. 'One.' She thought. Time was still counting down 15...14...13...12...11...10. Finally, with 5 seconds left she screamed. "Kill me." But the clock was still counting down and she only had 3 seconds left. "KILL ME!!!" She screamed. The timer stopped. Salty tears flowed through her. She hadn't even realised she was crying. "Kill me." She kept saying.
All at once the room turned bright and the darkness dissapeared. Leaving only the room left. It was done, the test was over but Raven still stood there crying. Her knees buckled and she dropped onto the ground. A stream of tears flowing. The door burst open and Robin ran in. "Raven!" He slid to the ground just infront of her and pulled her into his arms.
"It's ok. It's ok. You're alright. I'm here." Raven sobbed uncontrollably into his arms. 'With the way she was sobbing, I can only imagine the horrors she's gone through in here.' Robin though as he slowly patted Raven's back. "Robin..." Raven called out croakily. "Yes?" He asked. "Don't ever leave me." She cried. Robin was shocked but answered softly. "I won't."
Robin scooped Raven into his arms and carried her, bridal style, back to their room. He let her lie on his chest again, slowly stroking her shoulder until she fell asleep.
