A/n: ok i know its been a while since i updated. Partially its because this is my last year of school and at the end of the year i have a very major examination which will determine my future. There's only about 6-10 chapters left in this story and afterwards im thinking of writing a sequel(though not so soon. Maybe at the end of the year). For all my fans out there, i thank you for your continuous support and will try to update asap and finish this story(and a preview of the sequel) by end of February. Sorry for the long wait. Anyways enjoy the story and dont forget to vote and comment. Also, anyone who has ideas for the sequel, feel free to leave a comment or pm me.

"you're a fool."

"We were sisters and you just betrayed me!"

"Gurl, you're so not my little sis."

"You're a creep Raven. You'll never find love!"

"You are not my daughter. I have no use of such a princess who does not come to Azarath in it's time of need"

The voices kept coming. Raven was screaming for help. Out of the arena, Robin watched her, his heart breaking. He wanted to help her so badly but he couldn't. The mind test retricts all telepathic connection. If he tried to intervene, the monks will know and Raven will be disqualified. Instead, he closed his eyes and willed her to know the answer.

Inside, Raven was on the verge of breaking. But then, she thought of something. 'Robin....he would've never kissed me if he didn't love me. But that would mean....' She deciphered her thoughts as understanding came to her. "This isn't real." She called out. "None of this is real. It's just my imagination." She cried.

All at once the mirrors broke and the world came crashing down on her. Next thing she knew, she woke up to find herself lying on the ground. She got up and brushed herself off. The monks also came out of their trance. Looking to each other before nodding in pride.

"Raven Roth of Azarath, you have passed!" A monk announced.

Cheers erupted from all over the audience. "I knew you could do it!" Robin rushed down and gave her the biggest hug imaginable. The monks coughed which returned everyone's attention to them. "Raven, the test was a test to see if any of you could decipher what was real and what was fake. We used your love ones as the test. But you, Raven, have managed to see through our illusions through understanding that none of your loved ones, no matter how angry they are at you, will ever say those things. And with that, you have passed."

Robin was surprised. If what the monks said was true, then Raven had seen him criticize her in her mind. He made a mental note to do whatever it takes to make it up to her later on. Later in the evening, Robin met Raven in her room.

"Hey!"

"Hello Robin."

"Hey, I'm sorry if I said anything in there that hurt your feelings."

"Why would you be sorry, it wasn't even real."

"But I....."

Raven sushed him.

"Robin, when I was in there, it was you that got me out."

"What? How?"

"The you in there was scary, saying I didn't belong in the Titans. But it was that that made me realize the real you would never say such things. It snapped me out of my trance. So, thanks."

Raven gave him a peck on the lips and left.
