Back in Azarath, Raven and Robin had just moved over to one side of the big field while her brothers slacked off on another. As soon as the coast was clear, Raven slotted her knives into the pockets on her boots and slung her quiver over her shoulder. She connected her whips onto a belt she had picked up. She added a crossbow to that collection and slotted two broadswords into their respective scabbards on their belt.

Meanwhile, Robin surprisingly found some knives he could use as birdarangs and some gadgets in the pile, though Raven had said it held only basic weaponry. He turned around to see Raven beckoning to a target nearby far enough so she could train in private without revealing anything. He nodded and followed her to the target where she had her knives out. Quick as a wink, she threw them and they flew until finally, they pierced the target right through the centre.

Robin watched in shock and Raven, seeing his expression, grinned but quickly supressed it. "What the.....when did you....how did......" Robin scrambled out sentences but without any end to it. "How did I get so good?" Raven completed for him and he nodded. "You never exactly took an interest to what I do in my free time. I spent some of it perfecting my aim with certain weapons." She took out three knives at once and threw them simultaneously, they all pierced the target in a tight square with the first one.

"But the only practicing area is the gym or the outdoor training area and I'm usually at the gym and BB, Cy and Star said they have never once seen you outdoors unless it's necessary?" Robin questioned. "You were in the Evidence Room a lot too you know. I started target training around the time you started your obsession with Slade." Raven said. Robin stared at her in wonder, here was the girl whom everyone thought spent all her time reading and it turns out she had another hobby, one which she had worked on for awhile now. Maybe he didn't know her as well as he thought he did. He continued to watch as she moved onto archery.

She picked up the bow and removed an arrow from it's quiver, nocked it and released it. Unfortunately, the arrow pierced the outermost ring of the target and Raven fumed in annoyance. "I've been working with the bow and arrows for nearly 6 months now and I still can't get the stupid arrow to hit the target." She said, clearly annoyed. "Well that's because you're not using the proper technique." Robin said, going over to her.

Robin had trained with Speedy a lot while he visited the Titans east in Steel City once. During that time, Speedy had taught Robin archery while Robin taught Speedy how to make his gadgets. When Robin finally got to Raven, he put his hand over hers, adjusting the position of her hand on the bow. "See, if you put it too low and the arrow is nocked too high, your aim will falter before it can release the arrow." He said to her. She nodded in reply and followed his instructions. Once the arrow was released. Zzzzzziinngg! It flew straight to the bullseye and pierced it clean.

She was so happy that at once she jumped into Robin's arms in celebration and gave him a tight hug. Robin stood stunned for a moment but hugged her back, feeling the warmth of her on him. All of a sudden, Raven realised what she had just done and pulled away, wrapping her arms around herself and feeling embarrased. At once, Robin yearned for her hug again but knew that was impossible, so he took her hand. To his surprise, she didn't pull away.

Raven felt Robin place his hand in hers but didn't argue. She was actually enjoying it for a moment there and wished she didn't always have to keep her emotions hidden. She thought about him, how when he first met her she warned him not to get involved with her because of her prophecy but he didn't listen, saying "I know enough." That was the first glimmer of hope she had ever gotten and he had sparked that in her.

'Wait a minute.' Thought Raven, stiffening. 'This guy was supposed to be like a brother to her. So why did she feel like she loved him more than that? Besides, I don't have a chance with him since he likes Starfire. Also, with so much on the line for the test, I can't allow myself to get distracted now.' She thought.

Meanwhile, Robin had been thinking along the same lines 'She's so hopeful about everything, so what if she's different. I don't think she's creepy. Actually, I think she's kinda, pretty. But wait, she's like a sister to me. So why do I now feel like she's so much more than that?'He thought.

A/n: Okays, so from now on these chapters are probably gonna get longer and longer because we're getting closer and closer to the main event of this story and I've still got a lot to cover before that. Till the next update, vote and comment.

Disclaimer: I do not own Teen Titans or any of the other characters mentioned in this story. If I did, this story would probably be made into a movie and Teen Titans would've had a season 6(The actual teen titans not Teen Titans Go.)
