Chapter 10

A/n: Wow 800 reads! You guys are all amazing. I'm not joking, never in all this time did i expect so many of you to like this story.    " remind me again how we are supposed to find his house."  Beast Boy asked Cyborg. "Not the faintest idea but I know someone who might know." He hurriedly got into the T-Car and asked the others to get in as well. Once all of them were in, he started the ignition and drove to Massachusetts.The ride would've been fairly quiet except for the fact that Beast Boy kept asking "Are we there yet?" And kept making jokes-which Starfire kept laughing at.   

In, Massachusetts,they searched Cyborg's built in GPS until they found the town of Wakefield. "What does the town of Wakefield have to do with the Doctor Fate?" Starfire asked. "It doesn't but the Tower of Fate does not appear on maps. It's also cloaked so there's no way to find it without someone actually knowing where it is." Cyborg replied. "so, why are we here?" BB asked. "I told you I know a friend who might be able to tell us where it is." He said.

              They kept driving until they came to a large condo.Cyborg parked and rushed to the 4th floor of the building. He rung the doorbell on one of the two houses that the floor had. The person who opened the door was none other than the brown haired, blue eyed Silver Swan. She looked like she was dressed for patrol. "Hey! Nessie." Cyborg said. The woman stared at him before smiling. "Nice to see you again Cyborg. I'm afraid now is not the best time for a surprise visit." She said.

              "Actually, I'm not here for a visit, I'm here on business." Cyborg said. Vanessa's eyes widened. "Please come in." She opened the door wider and beckoned to the apartment. Once they were all sat and comfy she turned to Cyborg. "What can I do you for?" She asked. 

                  "Well for one. Who are you and how does Cyborg know you?" Beast Boy asked. "She's Silver Swan, also known as Vanessa or Nessie Kapatelis. We go way back." Cyborg answered without waiting for Vanessa. "Yeah, and from Cy's letters I presume....Beast Boy and Starfire?" She asked pointing to each of the Titans as she said their names. Both of the Titans nodded and she looked around, clearly confused. "Wait a minute....where's Robin and Raven?" She asked.

                  "That's what we came to you about. Do you know of a magician named Doctor Fate?" Cyborg asked her, sparing the introductions and getting right into the main point as not to stall her from patrol any longer. "Nelson? Yeah, he lives just outside of here in Salem. I go to his house for tea every week. Why?" She said matter-of-factly. "Robin and Raven have gone to Azarath and the only way to get there is through a teleportation spell. We would do it ourselves but the spell is in ancient Sanskrit and I couldn't find any translations." Cyborg replied, with Starfire showing her the book.

                      Vanessa flipped through it until she came upon the spell and tsked. "I see your point Cyborg. And you think Doctor Fate can read it?" She asked. They nodded in reply. "We were hoping you could take us to him." Cy replied. "Well, it's worth a shot. Alright, just give me 5 minutes to finish suiting up and I'll take you there myself. Fate and his wife don't take kindly to sudden visitors." She said, leaving to finish putting on her superhero gear.

                            About 15 minutes later, Silver Swan and the T-Car entered Salem and stopped at an intersection. There were two houses, separated by what looked to be an empty spot. "We're here." She said into her communicator-which Cyborg had graciously provided so she could communicate while they were in the T-Car. The T-Car came to a holt and the three Titans got out. "Urm....where is here exactly?" Beast Boy asked. 

                         But Vanessa hadn't heard her. She was already going to the door and after searching around, she found what she was looking for. Placing her hand on an invisible section of the wall, it suddenly sank and a door opened. She guided the others into a small room where a hologram of Kent Nelson popped up. "State your business." It (the hologram) said. "Kent! It's me. I bring guests who wish to see you. They say it's urgent." Vanessa said. Suddenly the walls of the room broke apart into hundreds of stair cases. She led them to one of the stair cases where at the end of it, Kent and Inza sat with tea on the table and smiles on their faces.

                         "Hello Nessie, please take a seat and have some tea." Inza said greeting Silver Swan with a hug. "Hello Vanessa, nice to see you again, who are your....guests." Kent said, noticing the Titans. "Kent, these are Cyborg, Beast Boy and Starfire. They need to see you and Doctor Fate urgently." Vanessa introduced. All at once the face of Kent Nelson turned serious and he replied. "Come with me."
