The Princess Test

Chapter 13

A/n: Reward for 1000 reads. Two chapters this week. . This chapter is dedicated to my real life best friend fellow writer stephaniekhor. Would've probably never taken writing this far without all your support and your constant advising of my stories.

Robin and Raven got back to the library after an exhausting day practicing. They had struck up a conversation along the way and had been teasing each other like old friends.

"....would've never gotten in" Robin said. Raven laughed in reply while Robin opened the door to her room.

"That's not even the worst part yet!" He cried. "What is then?" Raven asked, genuinely curious. "You should've seen the days when hes all 'My duty is my first priority'" Robin said. They shared a laugh and Raven left to shower.

'Raven's so cool. She actually listens to my stories and laughs. Maybe...maybe she's the one. But no. What will I tell Starfire?' Robin thought just as Raven came back in. She looked frantic and was really in a rush. "What's wrong???" He asked, placing a hand on her shoulder.

"The test" She said, almost afraid. "What about it?"

"I had totally forgotten about the date."

"Huh? We still got time."

"We have two days Robin. Two freakin days!"

"So?"

"I'm not ready for this Robin. If I lose..."

Raven looked ready to cry and Robin felt so hurt for her that he pulled her into his arms and stroked her hair. "Sshh...it's gonna be alright." Raven pulled out of his arms. "No it isn't! If I lose...i could....i could..." She hesitated. Not wanting him to know. "You could what??? Tell me Raven." He cupped his hands over her face.

Raven contemplated the idea. 'If I tell him. I wouldn't have to hide anymore. But can I really bring myself to do it? I've been running from it all this time but maybe.... no. It's too much.'

She looked back to Robin. Tears in her eyes and hardened at the sight. "I'm sorry Robin. I just can't." Robin looked at her and saw fear and sadness. He wanted to know. He really did but Raven would tell him if she could. 'I think it's best to give her some space for now.' Robin thought.

"I understand." Robin said and took her hand. "Tell me when you're ready. I'll be here" Raven squeezed his hand. 'I really wish I could. But even if I don't you'll find out soon. I would tell you. But not now, not today. But soon.' She thought.

A/n: Raven's secret trust me its big and for any of you who think even i dont know what it is. Trust me, I do. I just wanna keep your suspense as long as I can *evil smile*.
