The Princess Test

Chapter 16

    Raven sighed as she changed out of her dress. She liked it, but now was the time to prepare for the tests. As she put on her signature leotard and cloak, Robin came in. "Hey! A bit of privacy here!" She yelled. His eyes widened and his arms flew around his eyes. "Oh sorry. Anyways. What do you think about Cyborg, Beast Boy and Starfire not being here?"

    Raven looked at him in shock and in the time it took for him to comprehend what happens tears begin to fall at her eyes. Robin took her in his arms and ran his arm gently around her hair. Surprisingly, she didnt pull back. "I dont know why but its gonna be alright. Maybe they were in a battle somewhere." Robin soothed. "No. You have to understand that when the Lord takes someone out of their world. That world freezes. Whether they're in a fight or sleeping. It will freeze until they get back. So unless Cyborg, Beast Boy and Starfire were somehow in a enchantment containment facility, theyd be here" Raven contradicted.

And as a matter of factly.....

"Help!"

"Get us out of here!"

"Come on. No one is that cruel"

    The three yelled in sync while Starfire tried to destroy the cage with her powers. In another magicproof cage, Dr. Fate was sealed in it. Trying to get out, but his powers were useless. From a dark side of the room, Jared appeared, laughing maniacally. "Oh i will, once the princess wins the contest and relieves her position. If she doesnt win, you're free to go." He said. Beast Boy growled at him. "She'll never do it!" With that, Jared left them slamming the cage with all they've got.
