Another day has passed. A shining utopia that is Azarath. Thousands of citizens gathered in the arena. To cheer on as the third day of the test opens.
"Welcome, welcome, one and all to the third day of the test. The test is the test of skills. Unfortunately, Azar was unable to make it today due to some last minute temple arrangements so in her place, let's welcome one of Azar's monks. Eryn.
"Today's test will be the test of the skills. In this specific case, each of our royal siblings have had this entire week to train their skills in terms of weaponry and battle skills. This test will also test their abilities to strategize and see their opponents weakpoints which will make for a good king or queen next time. Now, to begin, we have the siblings fighting one of the greatest warriors in Azarath. She has been known as the undefeated general of the great Azarathian army. Please welcome Callira." The monk said.
From the entrace of the arena, the sound of metal clacking of a knights armour could be heard. Out from the right entrance came a woman standing tall and strong. Holding a double bladed spear much like the lady Sif before a battle. Her dark hair combed to near perfection and braided down to their tips. She wore a grin on her face that just screams 'I will not be defeated' and her eyes drilled into the very depths of the Azarathian soul.
"Now, since General Callira is ready. I will explain the rules. The siblings are not to kill only to stun and the only way to win a battle is for their opponent to call out 'SURRENDER'. They are also not to severe one's body parts but they may cut or make their opponents bleed. The same rules apply for the general. Now, to start us off, let's call out Greed!"
The audience roared as Greed stepped out of the other entrance, clad in full armour. From the area where the monks sat, the floor dissapeared to make way for a table the size of a thanksgiving table and on it were any and every weapon one could ever dream of. From swords to spears and slingshots. Greed walked over to the table and selected nearly half the weapons on the table(Hey, he is greed) then walked out to meet Callira, his body shaking from the weight of the extra weapons.
Behind the scenes, Raven and Robin were watching in Raven's dressing room as Greed took his place. Raven tsked and Robin shook his head in dissaproval. The rest of the tests were now free for the siblings to watch. "Greed is....very greedy isnt he?" Robin asked. "You have no idea." Raven said. "He's never gonna be able to fight in this." Robin said as Greed was sent flying to the ground. Raven showed a face of disgust. "Tell him that. Each of my brothers, they're.....special."
As Greed's battle concluded, Lust was called out and one of the palace servants knocked on Raven's door. "Come in." She answered. The servant peeked his head into the room. "Your grace, you might want to start preparing." He said and opened the door furthur to let one of the female servants pass to help. Raven groaned when the female servant tried to put metal coverings on her. "Raven? What's up?" Robin asked, going to sit by her. "I'm serious when I say, I don't need armour!" Raven said in annoyance.
"But....Your Highness. How will you protect yourself if you do not have armour?" The servant said. "Let me and my company figure that out." Raven said and waved the servant away. As soon as she was gone, Robin turned to Raven. "So...urm....if you don't want to wear armour, what do you want to wear?" He looked in her wardrobe. "Well....I want something which I can move freely from so I was thinking my Titans uniform." She said. "I'd agree to that, if I wasn't completely sure you'd fall on your back with such a long cloak." He said. "Well what would you reccomend?" She asked.
"Hmm....why not wear something simpler, like your leotard. That'll enable you to move freely and these leggings also encourage movement. And if you're so keen on the cloak, let's make it shorter and turn it into a cape?" Robin suggested. Raven pondered his suggestion. "That could work, but I don't know how to make a cloak shorter." Raven said. Robin grabbed scissors from the dressing table. "Leave it to me." He said.
And so, half an hour later, Raven stood inspecting herself in the mirror. Robin had done a good job of shortening her cloak and she wore her leotard with short pants. "Okays, one more thing." Robin said. Raven heard the sound of something being unclipped and a moment later, a weapons belt was clipped onto her waist. "I took the liberty of customizing a belt for you to keep your weapons." He said. Raven looked down. The belt was just right for her and provided ample space to keep her weapons. She hugged Robin. "Thanks." She could feel him hug back.
Another knock on the door interupted her. "Your Highness, it is time." The male servant poked his head over again. Raven nodded, regained her composure and looked at Robin. "Any last minute advice?" She asked. "Yes, choose long range and short range weapons. That way, you can hit her from afar and also engage in close-quarters combat." He said. She nodded her understanding and walked out the door.
A/n: I know this chapter must be super boring.
