ch. 23

Katie pov

"Ross I-" I said.

"Katie, let me speak first." Ross said. I nodded. He walked over to me and held my hands.

"Katie, I'm sorry for what I said yesterday. I was taken by surprise and I didn't give myself time to think and respond, I just responded. Please forgive me." Ross said.

"I forgive you. I'm sorry to. it's just hard for me to believe that Lacey are not being treated like charity and I know you didn't mean what you said. I overreacted because of our pregnancy." I said.

"I know. Katie, I forgive you to. I also love you so much." he said. I smiled.

"I love you to."I said. Ross leaned down and kissed me. We kissed for a while. Someone knocked on our door. Ross pulled away and opened it.

Ross pov

Katie and I kissed. I pulled away because someone knocked on the door. I walked to the door and answered it.

"We are all going out to eat. Do you and Katie want to join?" Rydel asked. I turned and looked at Katie she was packing her stuff.

"Yeah. we'll be down in a minute. " I said.

"ok." Rydel said. I closed our door.

"Katie, we are leaving." I said.

"Where?" she asked.

"Breakfast." I said. Katie stopped what she was doing. We walked out of the room holding hands. We found everyone waiting in the living room.

"Ok lets go!" mom said. We all walked to our cars.

"What would you like to drink?" the waiter asked Katie.

"I'll have a water please." she replied. The waiter wrote the drinks down and then left. We were sitting at one of those booths that fit many people. We also had a table for the kids.

"So are you guys going to find out the gender or wait until the baby arrives?" my cousin asked.

"We haven't really decided yet." Katie said. I put my hand on her leg.

"Oh." our cousin said.

"How are you feeling?" Riker asked.

"Good. I have a little more energy. I'm not as sick anymore." Katie said.

Katie pov

Our food came out and we all started eating. I had some fruit and wattles.

"Do you want my bacon and eggs?" I asked Ross.

"Yeah." he said eating the bacon and eggs off my plate. I ate my fruit. And then my waffles. Ross got a text message.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"I have to go back home. " Ross said.

"Work?" I asked.Ross nodded.

"Do you want to stay or go?" Ross asked.

"I want to go home. When do we have to leave?" I asked.

"Two hours." he said.

"Well we better get going." I said.

"Hey guys, I have to go back home." Ross said.

"Why?" Everyone asked.

"I have to film some stuff. They changed the starting date to tonight." Ross explained.

"And I have an appointment soon." I said.

"So we are going to head back to the cabin to pack. it was nice seeing you all again." Ross said. We got up and hugged everyone goodbye. Ross left some money for our food and then we left.

"So are we going to find out the gender?" I asked.

"Well, babe, what do you want to do?" Ross asked.

"I want to wait but I also want to find out." I said.

"Lets talk about this on the plane." Ross said as we boarded our plane.
